  • Good job. I'm learning the harp and was incidentally playing this song when I spotted this video. You play with feeling, nice to listen to.

  • wow ur really good!! I love the harmonica but you also make me want to play the trumpet again ;D

  • Nice one mate! Makes me think of warm breezes on favorite lazy summer evenings. I love the way music makes ya mind travel.

  • That's wicked man...something I can just sit back and relax to!!!!!! It sounds great!!!

  • this's great man :D

  • I have recently taken up the harp, and you have inspired me with that rendition, great playing thanx

  • Wahnsinn!

  • You remind me of Kyle Gass with the way you speak and the musical talent.

    Good job =)

  • You play Amazing Grace much better than i do =)

  • Wow, u r amazing!!:).. hey could u plse advice me upon d harmonica i should buy.. I've been playing an old diatonic D.. I'm searching 1 easy 2 clean..

  • Thanks for the compliment on my harmonica playing my friend. As a rule I like to play mostly Honer Harmonicas and blues harps. Try an Echo harmonica in the keys of "C" and "G" and try lots of things never limit what you think can be done with any instrument. I hope this helped you some.

  • @williegogo how can u tell wat notes r u playing on the harmoinca?

  • you hold ur harp weird bro

  • I hold it that way due to my wrist and hand situation. I quite literaly had my hand tore off in an accident as a teenager. it's he best i can do with it considering my circumstances.

  • @williegogo woahh mann you okay? same happend to me :/ what happened?

  • Hi Amando. I got it caught in a carnival ride . I worked there for many years. The ride was running i got my sleeve caught in a seat as it went by and the rest is history lol. It works well for the most part now. although i do have days where i can't even feel it's there connected to the rest of my arm.

  • @williegogo I hold mine that way because that's the way my daddy showed me.

  • @dbray1 now dont you feel like an asshole

  • @likes2con nope, not really. i wasnt tryin to be rude, just sayin he held it weird. now dont you feel dumb?

  • @dbray1 no not at all

  • Hey man I want to start the harmonica and is wondering if you could give me some advice?

  • Hi kigger. I don't remember what i really did when i got started playing my harmonica. I just picked it up and played it for my parents. The tune i played was an old celtic tune that my father knew. I just played daily from that time on. I kept trying new things as the years went on. And I never shyed away from playing for people who knew how to play.

  • You need to learn to play one note at a time, and to bend notes. If you can do those two things, you are a good way down the road. It is much easier to bend notes when you "draw" (suck in) than when you blow.

  • Nisu losi samo sam ja malo bolji

  • I recently just noticed the way of holding harmonica as you did in the vid. Terry Mcmillan and Steve Baker also use this technique. Is there any benefit to do that?

  • Hi BlackRockCat. The reason we hold our blues harps and some harmonicas that way is this. I can open and close my hands to different degrees of openness to allow the tone to move wobble or change it's tone. it is a very commonly used technique with harmonica players. Try it and see how it works for you. Keep trying different ways of opening and closing your fingers and hands untill you find your own special blend of you in the music.

  • Thank you very much! I will try the holding myself. Hope someday I can play as well as you do. Keep posting and sharing nice vid like this one.

  • simply amazing !! so beautiful . 5*

  • nice, but your pushing it to hard, relax and it will sound much better.

  • playing for a day - with what?

  • shut up knob

  • muy bueno

  • very good!!!

  • this is great well done 5*****

  • I love the way you play this! Either you have altered the melody a bit for the diatonic harmonica, or it is a somewhat different version from the one I am familiar with. It sounds great.

  • I like blues style better

  • hi very nice
