Omg. this was my 2nd favorite ride in Dollywood, right behind the thunderhead. I also love the music they play when your waiting for the ride! My favorite part is when you were going up at a 90 degree angle 80 going 80 feet up in the air. That part was awesomeee lol!

The biggest straight down drop is the last one. 80 feet. the first straight down drop is about 50 feet.

I wont ride that thing, everytime I get in line, I hear one of the managers say it has broken down and the people get stuck for a few minutes. One time, ppl even got stuck UPSIDE DOWN!

I work in a themepark and i can confirm that we had an issue with too much wind causing one of the cars not making it through one of the corkscrews. So the disadvantage of these coasters is that they are quite weight- and windsensitive which you dont have on single-train coasters but overall i like the eurofighters because the track layouts are much more advanced than comparing to wild mouse coasters which are much more basic and arent that smooth as this one

I love this ride!! I went on it the whole time when I was at Dollywood(I was there for 8 hours)!! I love listening to the people who have never been on it go "You've got to be kidding me" when go straight up for the first time. And when I'm on the loop I talk to the person next to me!

Haha I love that too. I'm just sitting there looking bored and they look at me like I'm insane and ask me if I've ridden before. Haha. Coasters don't make me scream, whether I love them or not. But even better than that is when you get to ride it alone at night. That made the ride pretty dang creepy haha. Couldn't see anything and there was nobody to talk to.

dollywood is so awesome!!! we go evey summer. one of my favorite parts of mystery mine is where you drop right out of the station. i also like the creepy audio that plays in the loading area. for any one that has been recently, has timber tower been running??

timber tower has been down for about 2 or 3 weeks, they've drained all of the water out and noone knows why its not operating.... so i dont know when they will have it up again...

Im scared to death of roller coasters. Iv been on 2 in my life and they were small ones. My daughter is wanting me to ride this with her when we go this summer . It's a very tame ride until you go straight up a chain drive twice. I just rode it 4/10/08 and it was great. I don't know what would happen if that chain broke. It's the best ride in the park. Even better than the wood coaster.

But you're tightly strapped in, and you have things crossing over your chest, so you hardly feel a thing. It's fun to try to focus on your nerves in different spots on your body. I myself HATE roller coasters, but I LOVED this ride! :]

What, the front? No, there's a part where you exit the "Cave" into the open, and there's a sign that says "track broken", so it looks like you're going to fall to your doom, but you rocket down and then go around, and then finally you go back into the building and go up the tower and all that good stuff.

I went on Wedesday, and the line was pretty long, then they started doing all these test runs, so that was annoying. We rode it again later on at 4:00, and the line was soooooo much shorter. It was halfway up the stairs you go on, before you enter the building! It was great
