@DjWuzHear Blame Society probably took about 30 minutes to record Vader's voice. It took a couple of days to secure an ice-cream truck and a backup truck. The shoot itself took almost a full day. Editing was about two full days.

Nope. Obi-Wan's is silver and black. Luke's is silver, bronze, and black. Both designs are very similiar. Also, the blade colors.

@Draknfyre Are you sure? I have the Obi-Wan Force FX and it definitely has bronze on it (it's that way on the box too). When I do a search for images of the Force FX lightsabers some show bronze and some don't, but all have that rounded style. I always thought Luke's was more rectangular like his daddy's.

Also, Luke had two. The first one was his father's, that he loses at the end of ESB. The one he built was designed after Obi-Wan's, following the tradition of a Padawan designing their Lightsaber similiar to their master's.

The ones in the prequel trilogy don't seem to follow this, but they explain it away with some designs.

Luke's/Obi-Wan's were machined. Luke's original one was built out of a 1930's Graflex 3-Cell Flash gun.

The two Lightsabers are actually identical in design except for the pommel, which is different, and the activation box, which uses the bubbles instead of the PCB pins that Luke's uses. The ForceFX ones are slightly larger than normal to account for the batteries, and the blade. The real props the necks are much thinner on them.

I am a Star Wars fan and a Lightsaber fan. Finding detailed info on what they were created with is easy. You can find sites that will tell you how to create one from the original materials. However some of the items, such as the original Graflex 3-Cell Flashgun are extremely rare today, and usually you have to go with a replica. Google Parts of Star Wars for a good site with alot of info.
