Fascinating, this is actually a great rendition, especially since the synthetic voice do not have the register breaks of an adult soprano/ alto. So it preserves the ethereal quality of boy voices.

The problem of the Japanese program: it's somewhat hilarious how the Japanese skids around the German words.

I think the voices hear are still a tad to dark compared to the boys.

Check at sanfranphono the first 1950 recording of the duetto 1950 with the Leipzig St Thomas choir.
