She left and the first thing she did was get rid of the clothes and shower vigorously. The fact that she gave the life insurance money to her children does not eliminate the money as an additional motive for the murder. She may not have cared about money...for herself.

I have training in deceptive behaviors and statement analysis. It is not an exact science, but it is an effective law enforcement tool. Elicia is clearly comfortable and believable when her eyes rest down and to the left (00:12). When she is being deceptive, her eyes dramatically go up and to the right (01:38 & 02:33). Also notice the repositioning in her seat and the nervous laugh. There was also more to the conversation she mentioned at 00:53. I doesn't look good...

You need to get all the facts.. don't just think that snapped and dateline told you the whole story......for instance, did you know that the police never secured the area so people were in and out contaminating the scene before csi got there...or that he was out with his girlfriend who had been pressuring him to end his marriage because they were "soul mates"....its cheaper to keep his wife because he already had two child support orders for the children out of wedlock..
