Hi hi! Have you considered - fast abs magic (do a google search)? Ive heard some great things about it and my m8 got ripped Six pack abs and lost lots of belly fat with it.
@mgaye17 Hanging leg raises are very good too, much better than on the floor. In fact I suggest you never do them on the floor, because in that position, they put too much stress on a deep internal muscle called the psoas muscle.
@ramusic10 The ebook basically sums up what you said in this video, what DoomFist94 and me are asking is that is there any other exercises that you approve rather than having to buy the power wheel to work on your abs? are normal sit ups still effective or are than something even better?
@sherman115 Someone else asked about hanging leg raises, which are very good. But DON'T do them lying on the floor, which stresses the psoas muscle. When you do them while hanging from a chin up bar, your body naturally aligns itself into a safe position. Use strict form, don't swing. Start with knees bent until you build more strength.
nice vid again and i have a question...i actually want to have a six pack but i want to have more muscle mass too. But if i burn fat i dont really will be heavier.. i mean i dont want to be fat but i neither want to be less then now i am.
@legu333 Don't worry about being "heavier" or "lighter", just focus on body composition, which means the ratio of fat to lean body mass. If you build more muscle with strength work, you will automatically be burning fat as well. Don't waste time with isolation exercises, just build real strength and muscle with multi-joint, multi-muscle group exercises, do high intensity interval cardio like hill sprints, and clean up your diet. You'll be strong, look great and enjoy great health all your life.
@ramusic10 i know its actually not the best place for this question but what would you recommend for biceps training? Cuz my training looked something like that: 1.)benchpress, 2)biceps(curl) 3,) abs(crounch) 4.) biceps(curl) 5.) triceps 6.) legs. I see the results from benchpressin but i dont really see a result from biceps/triceps...abs are better then before but not much better. However abs arent the most important thing for me. I know u dont recommend the crounchin but i think its not so bad
im confused, the abs function is to bring the upper half of your body down and the lwoer half of your body up, the crunch is what trains to bring your body down, and the leg raise is what trains to being your abs up... that is literally the main function of you abs and your telling me not to do leg raises?
@0587dave Leg raises while lying down unduly stress the psoas muscle, a deep internal muscle that connects the lower spine to the hip. There are better ways to exercise the abs that won't cause low back problems like lying leg raises can.
Good question. V-ups are a good alternative, but still not as effective as the wheel. Don't do crunches or leg lifts. Crunches are a waste of time and leg lifts are bad for your lower back. Get a wheel, there's a link on my web site.
hello sir, I really like our videos {expecially the upper back one, i was like heeey i can do it with my desk, thanks for that} BUUUT ,
I do the crunches {alot of variated ones } and thigns with my legs in the air for also the lower abs, i udnerstand what your saying, people get neck and low back problems, thing is , i also train my lower back and neck alot on endurance, i so i can take it, i got pretty much 8 pack abs {and ofc i eat healthy, do cardio etc and train evertything else}works!

@sherman115 Not bad, but you can't hook your feet into it effectively...or pack it in your suitcase. :-)

the bicycle crunch was scientifically rated one of the best ab exercises of all time
0587dave 1 year ago
the ab wheel was actually rated at the bottom, out of 10 exercises the ab wheen was rated 9th out of 10th for least effective and most dangerous
