I don't get the people who follow these matches which are obviously, and in fact, fake. How can anybody not see that all the moves are choreographed, the pre-match hype is all scripted drama, and there are special huge springs that hold up the ring? I know a guy who is aware of this, but still believes this is all real. One has to be a complete idiot to be fooled by this crap.

You obviously don't know this, but pro wrestlers regularly sustain broken bones, dislocated joints, torn muscles...not to mention having their foreheads slashed open with razorblades and being bashed with steel chairs every week. The matches are choreographed, but the pain is very real. If you wrestled even ONE match yourself, you really would be ashamed...ashamed to use the word "fake" around anyone associated with pro wrestling.

Do you think the Undertaker kneels before a magic urn when he gets up in the morning? Wrestlers are normal people off camera, and larger than life entertainers on camera, just like actors. The only difference is that whenever actors have to do a dangerous stunt, they hire a stuntman...wresters do all their own stunts, and often end up seriously hurt as a consequence. You don't have to watch them, but for having the courage to put their bodies in harms way, they at least deserve your respect.
