Folks this guy has opinions and is willing to share them. He is entertaining which you can't say about many YouTubers. The topics are interesting and provoke some thoughtful debate in the comment section. I just wish this was a cable show so we could have some guests on to debate. Keep it up. Cheers.
You are pulling stereotypes. Can i ask, what facts have led you to your opinions on the working class? I think maybe you should read that book by Owen Jones, anyone who reads 3 chapters of that book can come to a more factual understanding of the issues than you.
Okay, this guy is an absolute moron! Just jumping on the band wagon, demonize the working class, why not, seeing as they don't have a voice anymore to defend them. No doubt, your 'informed' research into these issues you are looking into wasn't just looking at random news stories, the main of which are usually focused on demonizing the working class. Bravo, bravo. *round of applause*
What about the 3rd kind of poverty? The one that is brought about by the government elite destroying job prospects for the working class, keeping the minimum wage very low and having no, to very little regulations in respect to hiring foreign cheap work forces. Your view on poverty is very primitive.
If there is a 2 state solution it won't have anything to do with Israel. you can't just tell the terrorists to stop. land for peace has never worked. It's just gonna be a fight until Israel is left alone. That's just the simple truth.
if you want to understand the israel/palestinian subject, I suggest Joniversity. He just made a video that is spectacular and it definitively addressed Newt, who was correct in his comments with this issue. People need to talk honestly about it and not beat around the bush with it.
@GirlonFilm1969 Agreed; I've always wondered just how many 'Palestinians' there are - Arafat for example immigrated from Egypt; I'm sure there were some native arabs who lived in that area but I'd question how long many had lived there and whether there is any sort of unique 'palestinian culture' to speak of - a unique arab dialect? traditions? customs? religion maybe? oh well.
Who told you that Arabs will become a majority in Israel?
Quite the contrary, Arabs percentage will probably drop by the next decade due to the fast growing religious Jews population.
The Arab fertility rate has been dropping for 40 years, and is currently at 3.5 children per woman down from the 8-9 they used have 50 years ago, whereas the average fertility of Jews grew to 3.
Arab fertility is dropping by 1 child per decade more or less, and by 2020 it is expected to drop at replacement level.
@AmetReloads The one state solution,is sheer madness.
Lets put aside how realistic it is, since i doubt that there are more Jews supporting it,than the ones you could count on your fingers.
Why would Jews commit a national suicide, by handing over power to an Arab majority, when they cant live as neighbors in peace, even when they are separated by a 5 meters high wall.
WB is more than enough area for a functioning state.
It is 60% the size of Lebanon ,with more or less 1/3rd its population.
@AmetReloads Thank you for the correction - my understanding was that the rate of fertility within the 'Palestinian territories' was going to get to the point that Jews would be outnumbered (I should have corrected myself stating 'Palestinian territories' rather than 'within Israel'). Like I said, my scenario was in an 'ideal world' but I really can't see anything good happening until the Arabs drop the 1930's style NAZI propaganda and instead treat Jews as human equal in respect and dignity.
One thing i really dont get about reddit. If Israel "missuses" its power and arrests, injur or kill some palestinians then it gets headlines in reddit, and the comment sections are full of people bitching about "how blood-drinking evil those zionists are. I hope they die". But 5000 people have been massacred in Syria and it gets few headlines and most people just comment that it is terrible in theory. I just hate how selective people are.
@hassejensen35 Of course, or when something happens in Chechnya not a single thing is said - apparently to some Muslims Arab's lives are more valuable than those from the Caucasus or Balkans.
I agree that Jews are an ethnicity, but I've heard Jews refered to as a race by loads of people. Jewish and non-Jewish. I don't think it's an idea being primarily propagated by Muslims. I think it could be that "Jewish" is commonly being used as a short hand for Ashkenazi by many people.
@AHopeforPeace1 Unfortunately I was at work today and it is amazing the number of parents with kids who should never had kids in the first place; too bad I'm stuck in working class labour voting territory with all the knuckle dragging that comes with the territory.
