my cats are the same I always have a bowl of water for them but they luv the sink tap. I splash the was in the bowl a little to make a sound to see if they realise that they do have water and its like they claim their not really thirsty

with dogs, this kind of thing is funny, but with cats, it's scary. cats are too persistent about their obsessions. a dog will get bored and go scratch himself, but a cat will keep at it...until the cat wins!

cats have a more sensitive sense of smell to us and don't like water that has been sitting in a bowl even for a few hours. A lot of them will seek out fresh water sources like a tap (faucet). Still cute though.

OMG I'm gonna cry that is so precious! My cat did that, except she didn't bite at it lol she just drank it and got it on her ear the same way and would get annoyed. She'd sit and wait at the bathroom sink. I had her my whole life (litterally) till i was almost 19, she died 11/7/08 at twenty-one years old. I have a video like this but IDK how to upload it. =?
