It may be rare to see TE play a Gretsch but he has a long and equally illustrious history on electric. I remember his prime axe being a custom Telecaster with a 3rd (middle) pick-up.
Not just a great acoustic player but a great guitarist, period.

When in 2001 was this, before or after Chet passed? Awesome performance, as usual. Everybody misses Chet, he was a great man.

right after he passed away, like a couple of weeks. I was there, a thousand people crying after this song, I've never seen anything like that.
