I dunno why but this is my fav ferrari... I absolutely adore it.. sure there are much better looking ones and much faster but this one has substance, and style... :-)
Well, Ferrari has produced many great looking cars in the past. The Testarosa, 348, 355, F40, F50, and 360 and not to mention the new 458 Italia. These are all more exotic looking, but not more beautiful than the 456GT. This car has been my favorite Ferrari and I have been following it since 1994. And every review I have read by the editors of various car magazines talk about how this car drew crowd wherever they drove, even in the company of other Ferraris such as the 355.
And buy the way, I am talking about the 1995 Ferrari 456GT. The 1996 version is still okay, but I do not like what they did to the rear bumper of the 1999 and upwards version. Yes, the interior is more attractive, but they messed up the rear of the car.

@driftbitchje1 i know why you say this is replica..must be because of the engine in the front, is it? well..do some more research before post something =]
is that the first time you fired her up after a prolonged period of sitting still? Just wondering about the rough start and the puff of blue. Like the exhaust :)
@Desm0Rob: this could be a leaking fuel pressure regulator, leaking fuel into the intake and leading to a brief rich condition on that side of the engine when restarting it.
When it was in production, over ten years ago, it was a little over 250.000 euros (= 360.000 dollars). Nowadays, the average price for a second hand one is about 60.000 euros (= 85.000 dollars). But this is for The Netherlands, where cars are much more expensive than in the United States due to taxes etc.
That's the best Ford Probe I've ever heard!

I saw one to sell on ebay. The guy was asking US$35.000, not bad for a V12 Ferrari.

Not sure, it's not my car. But you're right, it does seem so, especially because of the blue smoke. It does sound nice though, the rough start ^^
Huib1992 1 year ago
@Desm0Rob: isn't necessarily bad, this could be a bad fuel pressure regulator, leaking some fuel into the intake after shutdown.
