Not sure how observant you are, but Nadal got beaten by a better player on the day - Soderling. Federer then played against Soderling and won ... so Federer beat the better player .. that's how it goes in tournaments. The better players reach the final rounds until there is only one final winner! Nadal was in the tournament, so had every chance, like everyone else. Hopefully, he'll recover to play at Wimbledon.

Look, let's be serious for a moment -lol- ofcourse it has evolved like all the sports more or less. If you look at Borg's and Lendl's bodies (Bjork is the singer but nevermind) you see their athletism but totally different muscle training. In comparison to them Nadal is a little pitbull. Federer looks more "normal" i could say. So it's very subjektiv to say who's the best. And one last thing: Roger knows now how many titles he must collect, in the past they weren't so extremely title-hungry

You right ofcourse, it was an "unlucky" expression from my side. I know that Nadal is not a shorty, but i wanted to emphasize his "compact" dynamic style.Even though guys like Björn & Ivan were shorter than Rafa you have the feeling they were taller cause of the fact they were slower.

If borg was around today, he would be in the gym pushing weights. Mac is well known to have had maybe the greatest touch of all time. Laver is pete sampras hero. Its hard to say who is best.
