Actually, there are two ways to do this.

1. Place a crate under something, delete the crate (like everyone else said)

or the better (albeit longer) way

2. Hold an object, save and quit out of forge mode. It will look like it fell, but if you go back to that map it will be floating, and the only way to get it down is to bring it down again with forge mode.

I said BETA, it means online demo or whatever. This was released to people when they bought Crackdown. It offered only a few of the maps from the full game, no campaign and no forge. Of course, now that the full game is out, this clan uses that instead, but this was made before that.

if you delete the crate all the objects will fall down. Your thinking of deleting a box below another box to make the upper box float. To make weapons float, you cant delete anything below it because weapons and some other objects dont float you have to do it a different way.

Acutally, in the Halo 3 Beta, there was a "Glitch" to go into custom games and forge and all those options, you would do something like leave at a certain moment in a game, idk, but thats how they did this.
