The coolest glitch ive ever had in HW2 was when a shipyard put out a battlecruiser. Then the battlecruiser duplicated...and wouldnt stop duplicated until there were about 10 of them stack up and my game crashed. It was really awsome XD
have you done any scripting, coz i did this for the mission after this and i had a massive fleet and about 700 movers came outta the little bit of debris at the beginning, needless to say i died that day :(
then thats your problem, the game missions balance out the fleets so: as you have scripted in keepers and drones, the enemy fleet will be big enough to give you a run for your money. remove all the keepers and drones (or keep 1 if you need to) and the enemy fleets size should be a lot smaller when you try the level again
@Thevideowatcher100 The computer scales it's fleet compared to what you have and builds a fleet designed to destroy yours e.g. if you rely on capital ships it builds an anti cap ship fleet so scripting is a bad idea. The computer has no population limit and infinite RU so it it can do it in real time too. the computer is a cheating #@¢§!
The longer you wait in mission 5 before you attack, the more ships the A.I. will be able to build. Since I attacked directly after I entered the area I met minimal resistance, but if you wait for a long time it gets harder and harder to take the enemy force down.

well the only scripting i did was to create ships in my fleet including things like drones and keepers that u shouldnt be able to use.

LOL wow.. That was a lot of enemies!
When I played, I didn't see that much enemies in any given level so i would assume that was a glitch.
