I bridged my 360 to my computer so I get XBL across the house without an expensive adapter. It's very easy to do. And I don't know what you're talking about with this "intercooler," (those are usually external bro) but I've never used one and been fine (I never have overheating problems, that only happens if you're sufficating it). XBL comes with free silver membership, which is still cool, even though you can't play games. Gold is cheap at about $40-50/year anyway, and it's damn well worth it.

PS3: Blu-Ray Free Online Better selection of genres Better Graphics 360: Pay for online, but Live > PSN hands down HDDVD (Not on market, still nice for me who bought them at the time) More compact (besides power brick) Better games. Less in each genre though. Both consoles are good. PS3 is if your more of an entertainment person, or enjoy better graphics on game. 360 if you enjoy the multiplayer more, and prefer the shooter/racing genres.

Again the 360 plays it's own DVDs, so external is unneeded. 360 has better graphics processing unit than PS3 (look it up on Wiki), PS3 just has better graphics cuz of the Blu-Ray, and that's it. And the power brick tops the PS3's internal power supply. Why? Because not only is the power brick smart, it stops power surges from killing your 360, can save your 360 from shorting out by cutting off the power to it
Not only that, but the best part, is if anything happens at all, it'll very much likely kill the power supply and NOT your 360. Can't fix the power supply? Buy a new one for cheap! The PS3 power supply is internal, and if it breaks, PS3s are very costly to fix (I stopped trying cuz it wasn't very profitable, if at all) and you may have to replace the PS3 altogether. 360 probably has a big ass power brick because it uses more power. In result, it loads and plays games MUCH faster than the PS3 (dumbass).
If the 360 looks ugly, then the PS3 looks shitty. Because IT IS! Suck it loser!
Clip on HDD? Really? PS3 uses a slide-in hard drive with a screw and a cover to stop from a quick removal/replacement.
