  • most beautiful and truthful song EVER!!! GOD BLESS TO ALL!!!

  • I can't wait to see the look on the face of every unbeliever when Jesus is coming through the clouds! It will be a sight to see!

  • @maintmech2 I was thinking that maybe Jesus would not be about revenge, but love.Think about your own life, not everyone else. I don't want to preach, don't watch the horror in this video, see the LOVE. We are all loved, no matter what we have done...we are in the imagine of GOD.

  • I am so glad the Romans tortured and murdered that guy!

  • shut the fuck up. if you dont like jesus, you're a sad loser. fucking asshole. i feel sorry for you. see you in mother fucking hell. may you get tortured, raped, strangled, whipped and beaten to the ground with my blessing

  • Clearly you have taken that whole "be nice to each other" part of Jesus's teaching to heart.

    way to go man!

  • hahaha

  • i cryed to this. it's a beautiful song

  • This video, instantly,,, brought me to tears. It is very convicting & emotional.

Thank you for sharing it. I have always loved this song.

  • Crucifixion is probably one of the most awful ways to die... no denying it. What interests me, though, is that people seem to forget about the hundreds of thousands (or more?) who were crucified under the Romans. It was not an unusual way to die if you were hated by the powers of the day.

  • I really appreciate you lifting of Jesus!

  • great song, so very true

  • David Huff played this song at our church concert. Beautiful song.

  • indeed ... it was His love that brought Him to and endured the cross ... our cross .. He took for us ... how amazing Jesus is .. and the same yesterday, today, and always .. can we say the same for ourselves? our we abiding in "first love" or have we strayed? for His sake and yours .. ask yourself this everyone before you go to sleep .. and ask the Holy Spirit to show you the answer

  • Not only an awesome song but an awesome thought to think how He died for us and that Jesus loves us unconditionally.

  • I have enjoyed music by "David & the Giants" for about 20 years now. First saw them at Snow Safri in Gatlinberg, TN. Youth coming together & worshiping in one accord. Now I have two teenagers they are going to Ski Invation. New youth coming together to worship. He is the same yesterday, Today & forever...

  • Real Men Love Jesus

  • Comment removed

  • Great song, my uncle can play this on an acoustic guitar. Great video, 5 stars.

  • today is the day

  • 5***** A beautiful song and a wonderful video that shows the real pain and suffering that jesus suffered for OUR sins and reminds us that we in the world that take so much for granted; that we have forgotten the real messages of Jesus: to feed the hungry, give to the poor, the entire world is our neighbors and we shouldn't be worrying about building our own house but helping our neighbors/brothers/sisters build theirs. Remember God created the Heaveans,Earth,Moon and Son for us to gather as 1

  • Hope my daughter sees this and learns what's important.

  • he do it for us and we do nothing for the rest of us

  • I am 37 years old and this group came to our church when I was 10 years old, awesome, inspiring and I am so glad to find them again!

  • Yes, I believe it, and He did it for all of us!!

Check out my other videos on my channel....some are similar, but some are very different..

  • I had never heard of David and the Giants until I hooked up with your Dan Fogelberg Tributes and then followed what other things you've done.

YOU ARE GOOD! I love the stories you tell in your photo/videos - keep 'em coming!

  • This is so hard to watch, the murder of a son of God. Just wanted to show we earthlings that the good life is just a turn of the cheek, believe as a child....Thank you Jesus, Son of GOD.

  • Well put.

  • Hey, don't worry.

The guy in the film wasn't Jesus. The guy in the books was, but I guess no one told you that they were fictional or examples of philosophy, not literal.

  • Simon, of course the guy in this footage is not the Christ. He is acting the part and for that matter, we are lucky it is not the real thing, for if it were, I doubt any of us could stand to watch what was really done to him in the flesh, for I fear it would be much worse than this video portrayed it. However, this video is probably the most realistic that I have ever seen. The pity is that assertions such as yours harm no one but yourself and that is probably the saddest thing of all.

  • Right on Tage...the death and suffering of Jesus on the cross is what our sins look like to God. Jesus suffered and died in our place. Jesus was God in the flesh, pure and Holy, who fulfilled God's law perfectly, and He took our punishment so that we might live with God eteranally. I put my trust in Jesus, that He suffered what I should have, and that He saved me and I will live with Him for all etternity.

  • This is sick. Some film about torture? Keep your perversions to yourself, thanks!

  • I find it interesting that you could clearly see, by the video icon, what the video was about & yet you still came in & watched it anyway.

You're entitled to your own opinon & of course, you are free not to view anything that offends your sensibilities. That's the truly neat thing about YouTube. Personally, acknowledging Christ dying on the cross does not offend me, to the contrary it is good to remember the extent of His love for us, He changed my life. He saved my life. Peace to you & yours.

  • Well Simonrorke, you will see what Jesus had to do to try and save you. Will it be sick torture or perverted then?

  • Hi Aghost, I fixed up the problem as you can see. Was not bothered by it, YouTube goofs up like that all the time. Thanks for stopping by to listen to the music and to share your thoughts. Peace to you:)

  • Tage I know that's what you've been taught but it's just not true. Oh well, what matters it? Believe that too.

  • I was not actually raised as a Christian. I was raised by many different people, some were also atheists, some were hippies, some were even what I would almost call satanists. I had plenty of exposure to many different things, ways of living, ideals, ideas, morals & ethics but at the end of the day I always knew Christ to be the truth. From before I could even remember, (and no one ever taught me about Christ as a very little girl) I knew Christ to be the truth. I was not brainwashed or taught.

  • Unless you really know Tage, I don't think you can comment about her personal life. She is not just someone who was raised to believe what she believes. Actually I'm surprise that she is as strong in her faith as she is. I don't think you would be man enough to handle what she has handled. Read your comments and seen you channel, you should be ashamed of speaking to a lady like that.

  • You see what you're advocating with this video, Tage?

This comment below me is from efig88 - a Hitler worshipper anti-Semite. 88 is a secret representation of ADOLPH HITLER.

Please realize what this blood ritual is really teaching and consider the origins of the myth of Christianity!!

    watch?v=j_qaUPPzyU4

  • Actually, Thruthem, if you read the description of the video just below the subscirbe button, you would know exactly what this is all about. That Christ died, I am powerless to change and I am not advocating that anyone else die. That someone comes in here making rash comments about Jews is yet another byproduct of people entirely missing the point of the video. You cannot say that efig88 is a Hitler worshipper, rather a rash judgement on your part. Perhaps they simply missed the point too.

  • Your failure to condemn the statement "jews advocated the murder of the kind, loving christ." is much more than tacit approval of such belief and says a great deal about you.

  • The truth of the matter is, Thruthem, that when it came time for it to be decided whether Christ should be freed or Barrabus, no one advocated for Jesus to be freed...NO ONE! Not Gentile, nor Jew. They ALL stood by and allowed him to be crucified. Some of the people who had been his friends denied him. Does this render me a Nazi supporter? How DARE you accuse me of such a thing! You do not know me and if you did you would HANG YOUR HEAD IN SHAME for suggesting such a revolting idea as fact!

  • The myth that Barabus was released instead of Jesus makes the tale more dramatic but it is not true and was added much much later for political reasons.

Try to be objective and consider what would happen to a governor, an agent of ROME, who released a KILLER OF ROMAN CITIZENS!!!!!

THAT idea is preposterous, does not hold stand up to critical analysis and a prime example why belief in myth is dangerous and results in violence against innocents.

  • Barrabus was simply a murderer. To the Romans and the clergy, Jesus was so much more dangerous. He espoused the idea of usurping the need for priests, scribes and pharisees. He declared that people did not need to go to the temples to make sacrifices and offerings in order that the priests approach God on their behalf. Of course they wanted him out of the way. Barrabus or the potential total collapse of their religious system & thus ability to take money etc from the people. Easy, free Barrabus!

  • Ps Thurthem...I read efig88's profile and looked at the content on his page. There is NOT one video to substanciate your claim that he is a Hitler worshipper and quite frankly, upon further reflection, I would go as far as to say that you should apologise for that comment. It is not only untrue in this case, it is a downright revolting thing to accuse anyone of without just cause. As for 88 being a secret representation of Hilter, that holds no water in this instance.

  • jews advocated the murder of the kind, loving christ.

  • Kalish, I have a brain, I don't need tribal superstitions.

Tage invited me back for a conversation and I have not insulted her.

I am stating facts beyond dispute about religion.

You, as a non practicing Jew, can't handle the truth?

I think you know what the Bible represents, just don't want to hurt her feelings.

    Pravda?

You are the one resorting to insults.

  • Let me apologise for Kalish. He means well. But you are wrong, he has absolutely no qualms about hurting my feelings. He has verbally beaten me beyond recognition many times over the past three years. Thing is, I don't take it personally and he knows it and therefore he takes nothing I say personally either. It is called live and let live. Respect and all that. All points of view deserve considering, I accept that, but I do not always accept the conclusions of said considertaion is all.

  • Hopefully it won't take another world war or a new religiously inspired genocide but someday soon, humanity will find true virtue and no longer promote any book that advocate hate and violence the way the Abrahamic books do. It should be a crime against humanity to publish or teach such filth as slavery, child mutilation, forced conversion and the concept of eternal hell.

Then, disgusting films like this one will also be banned on moral grounds.

  • Thru pick your toys up off the floor put them in your crib and go home!

  • Wow, Thruthem, what kind of religious folks have you been hanging around with? I personally know of none who advocate hate, violence or perpetrate crimes against humanity, are pro child slavery (although I myself do make my kids do the dishes, does that count?) or forced conversion. But then again, I don't know that many people, so perhaps there are religious people who do those things. Personally, I have nothing to do with religious folks because I hate religion :)

  • Well we agree about religion's effects - that's good.

  • Opps, got cut off...

An impossible event documented only in religious scriptures, most of which predate the Judeo-Christian myths.

You probably believe in the resurrection, most Christians do and yet, at the same time, you do not believe in the crcifixion and resurection of those other deities of ancient faiths.

    This too is irrational.

The two beliefs combined make it very difficult for a scientifically minded person to debate a faither.

  • Thruthem its obvious that your not a Christian judging by your presumptions and unfounded accusations directed at my friend,I dont know and frankly arent interested in your beliefs..I just ask that you keep them in the shoe box of your limited life..and leave my friend alone..Her work is as awesome as her faith..so bye bye..

  • The reason faith is irrational is that it relies on miracles ie the resurection.

    An impossibilit

  • You are probably an agnostic when it comes to believing in fairies or pixies. Right? Perhaps you even go a step furhter and are an Afairist.

You also are an atheist when it comes to the thousands of those other gods in man's pantheon.

So, when you consider how you feel about those gods, you'll understand how I feel about yours.

  • Let's be clear, atheism is not a dirty word, it is actually a state of non-belief in an invisible, unprovable entity. As such, it is a descriptor of a state of clarity and sound logic.

  • And if God were invisible and unprovable then I would be an atheist right there along side of you. There is nothing dirty about atheism nor Christianty, the only dirt there is, is what we bring to those things ourselves. And no, I never taught my children that the tooth fairy nor Santa were real.I only taught them that God was real, just as you may well choose to teach your children that He is not real. We all indoctrinate our kids with what we do and do not believe, whether we realise it or not.

  • Yes we do bring our personal experiences into our beliefs and this is an important point against religion and faith based education...

It is immoral to assume that an individual has some inside knowledge about a supreme being, much less the actual will of that being. Any person claiming such knowledge is a lier. Anyone teaching such principles to a child must be prevented from doing so. It does great harm to teach superstition to a vulnerable, trusting child.

  • I been watching your ass posting this crap for days now. At least my girl doesnt sass your ass when she dont agree with you. She should and I wish she would but she too nice for that. Your pathetic and you getting down to insults just makes you seem even more sad than you allready are. I dont mind sassing your ass jerkoff! I would respect you and your belief system somemore if you wasnt such a jerkoff. Maybe you need god dude cos athiesms making you bitter and stoooopid!

  • Doubt everything. Find your own light.

    -Last words of Gotama Buddha

I do not feel obliged to believe that same God who endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect had intended for us to forgo their use.

    -Galileo Galilei

Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction.

    -Blaise Pascal

    Where knowledge ends, religion begins.

    -Benjamin Disraeli

  • Doubt everything is good advice, except 1 should also b wise enough 2 know when 2 stop.

God never asked us 2 forgo the use of sense reason & intellect, in fact, in order that 1 learns wisdom, those things are critical.

Blaise was absolutely correct. No argument there. Evil prefers religious hands.

As for B. Disraeli, he is right also. A lot of people acknowledge God when all other avenues have been completely exhausted the only pity is that they insist on going the long way around.

    Anymore?

  • These I borrowed from a new YT Freind's page, originally from Norway - a nation that has shed it's shackles of faith.

There are more great quotes on my channel.

Did you view a few of my videos?

What evidence of this God you speak of can you present?

  • "Faith is believing something you know ain't true." -Mark Twain

  • Thruthem, are we going to have to have THAT talk again? I am up for it if you are.

  • Lol, you are going to try to convince me that truth is an iron age myth, based on a bronze age myth that is based on a much older Babylonian and Sumerian myths?

    Please don't.

Or at least watch my videos so we can talk about the facts of the matter.

  • Not at all. I am not trying to convince you of anything at all except that my beliefs are based upon the "Truth Age" and have nothing to do with dendroglyphs carved into trees or hyroglyphs(sp) painted on cave walls. They have to do with a man who was here, who died and is coming back, just as he said he would. I simply enjoy speaking with you, your thoughts, ideas and ideals intrigue me and i do not disrespect them by simply disregarding them. All points of view have their merits, even mine.

  • I believe in nothing. I hold convictions. I am certain that your beliefs are not based in reason and rationality but are emotionally conceived with little logical merit.

I am convinced that no matter how much evidence from history or science I present you, you will continue to believe.

Just as the Moslems, Chrsitians, Jews and Bahais that I've recently debated with.

Either I am no good at leading people to reason or all believers delude themselves with fairy tales.

  • Trust me when I tell you that my beliefs are based very much reason and hold much logical merit. You prove through your evidence that God created us as vastly complex and intelligent thoughtful, free willed human beings. It was His will that we think for ourselves and that we decide what we will or won't believe. It isn't that you are no good at leading people to reason, it is that your idea of reason differs to others definitions of reason. It is nothing to be concerned about.

  • Faith is the opposite of reason.

Reason requires observation, insight, logic, testing and consistency. Isn't this why science has always struggled against the oppression of the clergy??

  • Faith sometimes comes through reason, oddly enough. But then again, your idea of reason and mine could be quite different and just like IQ, reason tends to work on a sliding scale. Science has always struggled against religious clergy but God focussed people have always seen and appreciated the merits of science. Faith is not at all the opposite of reason as faith can be based upon knowledge...personal knowledge of Christ in my life enables me to reasonably conclude that He does exist.

  • A personal conviction that something is real does not make it so.

Just as many children believe in the tootha fairy or santa claus. It is not a reasonable conclusion if you can not replicate the observation for someone else.

Science uses peer review to show what is real.

If God was real we would all know it and faith would be unnecessary.

I am not questioning your conviction, only the objective reality that you are asserting.

  • Islam requires children to memorize the Quran as a way of preventing analysis and questioning.

Christianity requires faith and obedience to Scripture, lest you be damned forever to hell.

Nuns and Priests and Immams are abusive, flawed humans that claim to know the unknowable and boast of representing an omnipotent being and to know his will. They teach hate and violence, abuse and bigotry.

To a rational, ethical person, this is most offensive and obscene.

  • Haven't cried in a long time..but this video/song sure let the waterworks flow.

  • I think I understand a little of how you felt because I cried almost the entire time I was putting it together.

  • TagelKaliandrino,

I agree with you. I know that God is almighty n wonderful. It however saddens my heart to see how people so easily turn away from religion adnd turn to science.Which has ofen contradicites itself. How can you make something out of nothing?Where would these stars randomy come from?Food for thought for Thruthem.I just had to voice that, because if they are willing ot just take that big bang theory into account they have to remember that science is a contradiciton.

    God Bless You

  • Hi AHearts Spring, I think people turn away from God when that first love simmers down into the normal every day relationship. Even with people, it is all full on and then it slows down to a calm and peaceful pace. We live in a world that advocates the cheap & temporary thrills and spills where when the gloss wears off you move on to something else. Pt 2 to follow...

  • Pt 2. Everything is disposable & there is a very decadent degenerate state of heart and mind that controls this world, i.e Satan. Generations X & Y have been the most profoundly affected of any generations before when it comes to living in a world that completely contradicts the message of Christ almost everywhere you turn. So with everything else being so fast furious, exciting & temporary, it is hard to go the distance when it all settles down to normalcy, which in this day & age is abnormal.

  • 'Turn away from religion/God' may not be an accurate statement because children are actually born atheist and inquisitive. They are indoctrinated into one belief system or another, depepnding entirely on where and when they are born.

Also, you mention 'something out of nothing' and 'randomness', these are erroneous depictions, promoted by creationists to skew the debate. Not that there is any debate, per se.

    Thanks for your comment.

  • I personally do not believe that children are born atheist. Being inquisitive in no way renders anyone atheist. It is my personal opinion that all living creatures are born with an innate knowledge that God exists; that He is their creator. It is the ideals and ideas of the world that get in the way and teach us to doubt, or perhaps dissaude us of the original innate knowledge that He exists. You might deny that God exists, but He does not deny that you do, Thru.

  • And just as an interesting turn it on its head question here, who indoctrinated you in the idea and ideals that God does not exist, Thruthem? I was never indoctrinated in this truth. I knew about Jesus Christ before anyone ever told me. I am not entirely sure how I came to know or even why, all I know is that I did.

    How about you?

  • Children are free of DOGMA.

They don't fear eternal physical torture.

They don't believe in being born filthy sinners.

They don't trust any one text IS the one & ultimate truth.

They don't know that a Jewish Rabbi was murdered 2000 years ago and that it's their sins that caused it! :O

ALL OF THIS GARBAGE is beat into them by sexually repressed psychotic religious assholes.

Religion is mental illness - the Illusin of Grandeur.

  • Sarah someone called shortdogg9876 has taken your video this one here and posted it under his name. It is your one because its got exactly the same pics in the same place and the same writing at the end.

  • You say you are a truthseeker Tage!?

  • Yes. Why do you ask?

  • You didn't want to view the Harvard debate I looked up for you with Dan Baker. That's not very truthseekingly of you ( ._.)

  • When you have already found the truth, what is the point in further searching? I appreciate that you looked up a video with me in mind, but really, I am incapable of being convinced that God is not real nor that Jesus Christ was not who He claimed to be.

  • Are you talking about the christian VS athiest debate that was supposed to be on some news show? if so, I would like the link. I agree with you tentatively in that I believe "God" is energy....if thats what your basic theory is.

  • Hi J,

    This is a great debate:

    watch?v=1arsUJI00Ko

    Hope you like it!

  • Ya ne bolnoy schinok! kalashnikov47

  • //O.O\\

When Joni Mitchell, in her song "Woodstock," sang, "We are stardust..." she was being factual as well as poetic. Every element on earth, except for the lightest, was created in the heart of some massive star.

  • Getting a perfectly formed human being out of an exploding star is about as likely as getting a perfectly formed (and page numbered correctly) dictionary out of a bookstore explosion. Come on already!

  • The elements, the atoms that comprise us were, in fact, stars at one point a billion years ago, perhaps.

This is the beauty of science and in this case; astrophysics, that ancient desert myth can not rival :)

IMAGINE NO RELIGION, IT'S EASY IF YOU TRY

    Peace

  • If you were never here for a billion years and no one has ever been around for a billion years and there is nothing by which to measure a billion years then how is that measurement certain? It isn't and so your faith is technically even more pie in the sky than you accuse mine to be. Faith that nothing exists or faith that something exists, neither of which can be truly seen. Maybe we are both crazy?

  • You are an atheist when it comes to Zeus, Krishan, Dionysus. Why believe in another discredited dead religion? Doesn't it make you wonder. Jesus and Abrahamc God myth are based on the above Deities. Please do your research.

Societies in Europe free of religion - Scaninavian nations and Freance are much happier, lower abortions, disease, teen pregnacy...

    Faith and religion are evil!

  • Sorry for all the typos I was in a hurry.

    An Anglican priest explains Jesus:

    watch?v=XHn5l0LdUzw

You may also enjoy this Harvard U. religion debate:

    watch?v=1arsUJI00Ko

The Atheist side is represented by Dan Baker, a priest of 16 years.

  • I do not require Jesus to be further explained. I understand what He came for, what He stands for and what He is yet to do.

  • Dionysus the mythical god of madness and so called son of Zeus...Zeus the god of the sky. I assume you meant Krishna, not Krishan??? Whichever, none of the deities you mentioned have any tie whatsoever to a living breathing peaceful peace-loving Messiah.

  • It is immoral to believe that all those who hold no spiritual beliefs or beliefs that differ from your own will go to hell.

It is immoral to thnik that you gain special favor and entry to heaven by supporting a system of oppression against gays and people of other faiths.

It is immoral to support a myth used for centuries to maintain slavery, oppression of women, execution of scientists and atheists.

  • I am neither a slave nor oppressed and yet yes, I am a woman. My faith is not immoral and I do not personally execute scientists or atheists and I do not personally know of anyone who does. And I do not garner "special favour" through my faith. I do however garner a great deal of hope, but that is extended to everyone else who cares to accept it. Do not paint me to be some torturing killing Papal relic of the Dark Ages. By virtue of my love for and my faith in Jesus Christ; it doesn't wash.

  • On the contrary, TageKaliandrino, it is comforting that there is no eternal dictatorship of a meniacal jealous being threatening eternal damnation unless I submit. We are star dust, the conscous universe herself, atoms self-aware, the majesty and beauty of it would be insulted by blind faith in long discredited myth. Wake up! Live Free!

  • We are Star Dust? Methinks you have been listening to too much Bowie/Nat King Cole/ Sinatra/Rod Stewart perhaps even early Kansas. Stardust we are not, living breathing mortal flesh and blood with a whole eternity stretching out before us we are. What are you going to do with yours?

  • Uh oh o_0

  • Yes, but at least now you two have stopped:)

  • For now. Cheesey grin!

  • "Believe those who are seeking the truth. Doubt those who find it." Andre Gide

  • "Like anyone would be I am flattered by your fascination with me." Alanis Morissette

  • Uh oh...Thruthem when she starts quotin songs thats a sure sign your in trouble!

  • "I come not to bring peace, but to bring a sword"

"...and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one."

Jesus, like other mythological figures take on the characteristics that the devotees of a particular time and place desire or ascribe or find necessary. Read Albert Schweitzer.

Your Jesus is kind and good but the Eastern Orthodox and Catholic Churches approved the ethnic clensing of Bosnia and the Nazis were confesing Catholics and on and on. So please!!!

  • Say what you want about me and write what you want. I really don't care. You are a human being with freewill, God given, so do and say whatever it is that you want. Take your cheap shots too, you won't be the first and most certainly you will not be the last. And I guess I brought it upon myself for standing up and making this video.

  • You've brought nothing bad on yourself.

You assign great meaning to this particular deity and it is not unusual. Missionaries, English speaking culture; it's totally normal.

Beauty and truth does not belong to one book.

The Vedas of the Hindus are incredible - their greatest scientific discoveries predate even Egypt and Babylon and are still valid today!! Many of these discoveries were made by women.

Let the search for truth become your God.

  • So I think we might agree that any religious dogma is detrimental to humanity as it becomes a tool of oppression against weaker groups or 'non-believers'.

Believing in any one God is irraional since a person's belief system is entirely determined by their place of birth and culture. Beisdes, why would an omnipotent being leave the majority of us in ignorance and only reveal himself to a mason in Judea (Jesus) or an illetarate merchant (Muhammad)??? Fables, that's all.

  • Don't forget there is an abyss of difference between someone who subscribes to religious dogma and someone who truly believes in Jesus Christ. Don't make the mistake of confusing the two, for they are poles and worlds apart in meaning. And Jesus was not a Mason and God does not leave any person in ignorance who does not desire to be left that way. It is called freewill and he said that he would NEVER encroach upon our freewill. Man is free to act as he pleases in regard to that.

  • SoMe InTeLliGeNt DeSiGn!

  • Couldnt an All loving and knowing God Think of a better way to Save us from Eternal Damnation; than a Blood Sacrifice that takes place in an small Illiterate Dessert Community.

And Whos word Has not till this day spread to the Four Corners of the globe.

  • Wow, I was just thinking and typing the same basic thing here. Maybe we were hearing the voice of God? Or.....the Devil?? LOL

  • This is why immigrants, gays and minorities are terrorized.

This is why religious devotees are feared by rational people.

This is why science education n the US is under assault by creationist stupidity.

This is why peope are suffering and dying from diseases that stems cell research can cure.

The Holy Books says it's the right thing to do to be saved.

And this is why the most charitable peole are atheists - Warren Buffet and Bill Gates.

  • these people are Eugenics!! their foundations are just a front! wake up!

  • Well hello there. I am a subscriber to your channel but not a blind faith believer.

You are refering to Gates and Buffett? Somehow I doubt that they are busy reducing the world's population through covert genocide, etc. LOL

The world population just hit 6.6 Billion and is growing exponentially, so unless they are totally inept and you, through tedious research and brilliant logic, have somehow managed to figure out their secret plan....

    LOL Seriously!

  • Thru, I can honestly say that there is a certain threshold that mankind crossed that he should not have ever breached. No form of human life should be condemned to death in order to preserve another. Life should not be exploited to further the number of years allocated to us. Everything has a reason, a season, a why and a wherefor. Though we may not completely understand the why, it does not make this any less true.

  • This is why crusades break out.

This is why innocents are bombed.

This is why parents strap explosives belts onto their children.

This is why genocide in Bosnia, Germany, Congo occured.

This is why slavery existed for so long.

This is why Christianity allows AIDS to kill Africans by the millions.

  • Appocalyptic religions teach people that there is a hereafter, that it's glorious to kill infidels, that reincarnation is true, that the messiah will soon come and the end-of-days is near. These are all dangerous lies that lead to bloodshed of innocents. Why care for the Earth if the end is near? Why help others if you can save your soul by praying to one invisible God or another? Do you see?

  • ROFL TageKaliandrino. No blood on the carpet. I appreciate your tolerance very much. I respect your right to believe anything you like.

I am only here because of the world as it is - different religions teaching their people to die and shed blood for their invisible sky men. Now that we have nuclear bombs in the hands of Christians, Jews and Moslems, I fear this will end badly.

It is our moral duty to shed false tribal beliefs of 'us and them' and learn tolerance and honest introspection.

  • It hear what you are saying, but I do not function on an "us and them" system. I believe only in "us"...everyone is a part of "us". We are a bumbling, stumbling mass of so called humanity trying to find our way through this life, but for some reason, you are right, we do use religion for bloodletting. But I am not a religious person. I hate religion. I consider myself a truthseeker. God is my truth and His promises my hope. Truth is that I am weak and imperfect and I can't live without Him.

  • I agree with everything you just said.

All we have is "us" and we are imperfect.

But What Rational could Possibly Make people believe that Scapegoating our imperfections By the most Brutal Blood Sacrifice is Moral Or Necessary for Us to live a good life.

It is Immoral to think that Your Evil deeds will be washed away just by beliveing in this Demonstrable Act.

  • Don't misquote what I said. I believe in "us" as in we are all equal under God, no one person more worthy than another. Division is not something intended nor promoted by Jesus Christ. He came for the 'least' of them, not what we might assume as the 'best' of them. Evil deeds don't just disappear because of my faith. It isn't licence to commit more evil deeds. What it is? Hope and forgivness, but I can't just knowingly do what harm I like and expect it to be forgiven. It doesn't work that way.

  • Well, I'm here to tell you that you CAN live without him. And in fact you ARE!

In a beautiful place like NZ, the wonder of the universe and nature is all around you. It would diminish all existance to replace such transcendent reality with some old parchment of fables that threaten eternal hell fire if you don't obey. Life is too beautiful to live in fear!

  • New Zealand has one of the highest rates of child murder in the OECD. NZ also has the third highest abortion rate in the OECD. Our stats for crime and murder are some of the worst in the OECD. Do not mistake this place for a beautiful mecca, it isn't. It has its beauty like all places, but it also has an ugly side. As for living without God, not only can I not, but I do not desire to.

  • we walk by faith and not by sight.

  • The Guy In The Sky...

    Romans 8:11

If the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Who is he that comdemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God.

  • An early archetype that made it into the collective unconscious of the early humans waaayyy before the few religions that survive today: Resurrection after death.

  • This ancient theme originated from observation: 1) crop harvest and vegetation 2) the sun - climate/seasons 3) the sun - day/night

     4) constellations in the skies 5) human and animal sleep/wakefulness 6) tribal fortunes; and 7) human sexual arousal stages.

It is relatively easy to identify these life/death resurrection motifs when someone begins looking for them.

  • Why don't you get Christ and receive life? Then maybe you will stop writing such rubbish!

  • Why? Here's why:

    /watch?v=dYyHGRM3qqU

  • I did go and watch that video...the creative force behind it? Brainless and without any merit are the only two things that immediately spring to mind. How conforting it must be for you to have established that you are born and die with no peculiar purpose in mind and that everything that happens in between those two points is meaningless and banal. Why bother? What would be the point? No, those weren't questions.

  • The crucifixion, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, could never be fully comprehended or understood by a mere video or movie. The power and love of God that was extended toward all mankind by the shed blood of Christ can only be imagined. No movie clip could ever do justice to the pain or shame our Saviour bore. In all actuality what we really need to focus on is the resurrection. Christ died in agony but he arose in glory.

  • Agreed.

  • Ummm, I hate to be the one to point this out but you do know the elemets you are describing are actually much older than the Jesus myth, right?

Crucifiction, death, resurrection, 'the saviour is coming' are all inherent to the Mystery Religions that predate the Hebrew stories by a thousand or two years. Yup, it's all soup of previously captivating legends and fairytales recycled for the Jews once their temple was destroyed by the Romans.

Are you an Atheist when it comes to Zeus, Horus, Sargon?

  • In one of his lectures the Oxford Professor, author journalist and literary critic Christopher Hithens pointed out that the Mel Gibson film was targeted at gay sadomasochists. Your deep personal feelings about your video can only reiterate his observation.

  • That might be so, but another person who was supposed a great leader and speaker asserted that the world would be much better off with no people of Jewish origins dwelling in it. Just because he asserted it and millions stupidly agreed with him, it did not make Hitler any more right.

You cannot base your entire arguement upon one human being and then espouse the idea that he is the only authority who is right. How narrow minded can you get?

  • Look, when it comes to faith, there is no easy way to have a discussion without someone's feelings being a little hurt.

At this day and age, when science has long disproven any sky man's existance, it is important to shed some light on matters of faith and the true value of believing things for which there is no evidence. It's not about Jesus, Moses or Muhhammed. It is about truth and falsehood. So please don't take it personal and I won't take your self-righteous, arrogance to heart. Thanks.

  • Pt. 2. And as for Professor Christopher Hithens, he is an atheist, so what else could he say? His complete and utter denial of God and thus rejection of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ lends him to having to grasp irrational, non-sensical theories about those of us who do not reject God or the sacrifice of Christ. For goodness sakes, pick someone to quote who does not have the same agenda as yourself. Be original and actually personally own what you say or else go away and .... catch a chicken!

  • Sweetheart block this idiot.

  • I know that I should but I consider blocking people to be an absolute last resort. At the moment I think that it would be premature and extrremely rude of me to do such a thing.

  • Your having me on right? What do you call what he just said to you today. You call that polite and well intentioned? What does he have to do to offend you? Come over there and spit in your face? BLOCK HIM!

  • By 'self-righteous arrogance' I am not referring to you personally, you actually seem kind and tolerant and yes my comments may have been a bit rough. Sorry. But these two other comentators and believers in general tend to be that way.

Bringing Hitler into it, however is a FAIL. This Gibson film is used today to whip up NeoNazis in Russia and Europe before they go beating immigrants, Jews, Turks and others.

Faith, even though yours feels pure and good, also has a dark side.

  • Yes TKaliandrino is an absolute sweetheart and has tollerated you way longer than I wouldve. So you say that they use this movie now to go and rile up the neo nazis before they go jew and turk bashin but, praytell, what did they use before because thats been goin on for years. Theres a big difference between hurtin someones feelings and being offensive and you were offensive but its good you apologised. I give ya creds for that.

  • What did they use before? Hmmm, self-righteous 'holier than thou' us versus them, lynch the heretic mentality. And, oh yes, let's not forget The New Testament as legitimizers for murder, rape, robery, genocide and dispersion of whole cultures. They ain't got Jesus, let's get 'em! - the Americas, Crusades...

Or: Their Jesus ain't our brand of Jesus - 30 year war.

    Sound farmiliar?

You'd probably burn me at the stake too if it weren't for this here internet.

  • Since when did i give the impression that i agreed with turk or jew bashing? I dont agree with any kind of violence at all no matter who and no matter why. I also know how to spell my name but the correct spelling was allready taken. Why do you resort to insults when this could actually be a great discussion? Why do you assume that im out to burn you? The only one who seems selrightous & holier than thou is you. The New Testement advocates all actions from a position of peace not violence.

  • I don't think I insulted you. If I did could you please tshow me. Okay so Kalashnikov was taken, my bad. What kind of a name is that anyway. I read that that rifle kills over 250,000 people per year. Some Christians too I bet. So is that somethink I ought to respect or may I question it??? Are you the front line defender of the kinder, gentler TageKaliandrino, who removed some of my comments and posted this video?

  • TKaliandrino wouldnvt taken your comments down or maybe she did. If she did then it wouldve been for a reason. Yes i defend her and she hates it but i do it anyway. I think shes too tollerant for her own good to forgivin too. I was born in russia but didnt live there all my life. I dont hate men who prefer men i dont like it but i dont hate people for it. Russias not perfect but neathers amerika anymore. Im not a christian but i dont hate people for being that either. Did i miss anything?

  • Kalish is right, I do hate him defending me, and yet, in a funny kind of way I adore him for it too. But to be honest, all I really care about is that this song reaches those who are interested in the message. You two can beat each other's heads in verbally if you so desire just don't go getting blood on the carpet or else I'm going to send you the cleaning bill! Peace to you both, Kalish and Thru.

  • You're 43 and living in Russia? And you have Elton John as a Favorite on your page? Doesn't Christianity condemn homosexuals? They will burn in hell or you can stone them to death, if I'm not mistaken.

Your English is very good, by the way.

  • Also, I know all about your Eastern Orthodox Church's Nationlist agenda against minorites, immigrants, and former republics and how it's all wrapped up in the Bible and the teachings of Christ. How convenient.

    This isn't the 16th century!

  • My english is ok but my spelling is terrible at times. But i try so that is all that really matters.

  • Are you talking about blocking me? Well, if so, may I point out that it's actually Kalashnikov and not Kalishnakiv. Learn to spell my Ruskiy tovarisch!

  • Christopher Hithens isnt just an atheist extreme but hes also latently homophobic.

  • Hmmmm, dumping your sins on a jewish rabbi who may or may not have existed in the iron age is not healthy. Neither is sadomasochism. yikes

Take a college course, read a book - do everyone a favor, will ya?

  • Thruthem...I am normally quite happy to allow someone to attach their video to mine, but when you come in here and insult what I believe and then go on to insult my inteligence, it is clear to me that you do not have a positive agenda in mind. That is why I have rejected your attached video, not because I do not believe in dialogue or allowing other points of view, but mostly because you were rude, ill-mannered and did not respect others in your post! Peace to you and yours.

  • I didn't mean to be rude. I have no agenda. I was only trying to help and reacting sincerely to this gory video and commentary about sacrificial death. Sounds like a dangerous mentality that can be corrected through logic and education.

  • One can only assume that your use of the word "sadomasochism" was a mistake born of ignorance of the true meaning of the word because if it was not, it simply renders your comment despicable.

As for the world's ideas and ideals in regard to my logic and education, clearly you believe me to be stupid so I'll tell you what, when my IQ hits 50 I promise I will sell.

  • Sadomasochistic is a completely apt description for this video. This term and more extreme ones were frequently used to describe the terrible and historically erroneous Mel Gibson blood-orgy film from which your video is asseblmed.

If you set the dogma aside for a moment and try to be ojective, you may agree that the Shi'a ritual of cutting themselves with swords is as difficult to watch for a sane person.

  • It is really appalling that you can attribute or assert that I get some kind of perverted sexual satisfaction from the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

I am not even entirely sure that I should continue any kind of dialogue with you at all under present circumstances.

  • You really are a twisted lil puppy arnt you thruthem.

  • Beautiful song... Very touching video!!! I am the nails and I am the crown of thorns my Saviour bore. Thank God he loved even me. Praise God forever, Jesus willing laid down his life. No man had the power to take it. He gave his life freely. Such is grace divine!!! He could have called ten thousand angels but for you and me this shame he bore.

  • Amen!!!!!

  • Wow! That was a spectacular video! ;) Jesus Christ I love you my Lord and Saviour! Thank you for dieing for my sins!;)

  • OMG i almost cryed i love jesus man amen! nice work

  • Thanks, Happytoes...I love Him too.

  • Nice work, I love Jesus!
