It's similiar to monopoly, but it's funner, the suits and different events and stuff add alot to the game. People don't like it because it takes too long but so far, the games only take 1-4 Hours. Yoshi's Island was 3 and a half hours, castle trodain was 1 and a half while mario stadium was 2 hours.

I'm not to sure about this game. When I first heard about it I was really interested in it. I've been reading several reviews that are pretty mixed about it. I mean I'm most likely going to get it, but I wish they would of added minigames, they have "microgames" but you don't really do much. I wish the characters would interact more as well. I've never really played monopoly but I do love mario games. Its a different type of game I wouldn't mind buying it except for $50+ it seems a little steep

It sounds interesting. If you like board games, try settlers of Catan or Xplorers online for free.

The exception is this isn't a board game transition, it's a long established series in Japan.

Board games on consoles have an expect that playing in real life doesn't have but its not as fun as getting together with friends. Online is not the same at all , I rather just stick to playing board games and eating pizza with friends. Their is nothing more priceless than seeing your friends face when he/she lands on boardwalk with all them hotels !

People keep forgetting about the Stock Market aspect. Are you going to play it on Simple Mode or Standard? I might play Simple ONCE but I wanna play with the Stock Market on. I wanna invest so much on someone else's district and then when I think I made enough I will sell all I have and watch their property values drop! LOL Though I know it won't be that simple. Stocks are always a risk. But at least you can make money in many situations instead of waiting for someone to land on your properties.
