Our kitties don't appear to have a preference for carpet or wood when it comes to playing on the treehouses. They enjoyed chasing one another up and down both types of structure, and liked to sharpen their claws on the accompanying scratching posts. As long as they can jump, climb, scratch and stretch, or sleep up high, they will grow to like the play structure.
