u can use the internet if u bought the edge data plan from tmobile but if u havent ... u can use wifi via a router wherevr u gotta connection ... hope that helps bro

Hello I currently have AT&T service with data plan on a blackjack phone and was wondering if I purchased a first gen iphone could I put in my sim card and have it work just fine? I was also thinking about canceling my data plan, do I need the data plan to work with the first generation Iphone?

Or do I really need to jailbreak it in order for it to work even though I have AT&T service?

no im pretty sure you can just pop in your att sim card and have it work ... but if not then unlock it with the bootloader ...

NOTE : UNLOCK and JAILBREAK are 2 different things

o ya really easy just follow these steps and if you want you can jailbreak it to making it possible to get themes and such off of cydia and installer

o really ... well restore your iphone from itunes and if taht doesnt work then look up the video ... how to unbrick your iPhone on utube ill try to post one and make sure u use the right firmware and quickpwn
