  • R.I.P. Selorm Kuadey, who scored sales 2nd try, died today at just 24. So sad life can be cruel

    :(

  • England need more players like robinson

  • Awwww hahahahahahahaha, the prop had clearly never celebrated before - so he fucking kicked the ball. comedy

  • I live in sale and im proud of it!

  • i like jason robinson but did the ball touch the ground

  • that prop was pace.

  • I love that last quote 'They'll say you couldn't of scripted it, but with Jason Robinson, maybe you could'

  • how we miss jason! i'd love to have him back as sales 15! best full back ever!

  • he coaches me at fylde and he said i was very good and had it in me to be a rugby player :O

  • barnes celebration LOL, i bet he has been wanting to do that haha, what a ledge

  • I'm French but I think he is a great player

  • @31lafouine You dont have to be english to respect a great player.

  • David Barnes aint slow is he?

  • one of the greatest players to ever wear the shirt of sale, still greatly missed on the pitch at edgeley billy whizz, can never be replaced

  • I'm Welsh so have no affinity with either England or Sale but I got tingles watching Robinson go over at the end.

He really is one of the greatest rugby players in history, for both codes of the game.

  • @cyRilBaggins i did aswell, im australian

  • barnes the prop what a try!! lol

  • Love his volley hit... Jason Robinson is the shit!

  • jason robinson is the best player of the all world

  • @antonio0914gameiro

    Agreed!!

  • Best. Player. Ever

    League and Union.

  • sagoool jason

  • Sale, Sale, Sale

    I went to this game

    Well done Robinson

    good game :D

  • same i went and bloody hell wt a gd try lol

  • Sale had a couple of years of an amazing team...

Sheridan, Bruno, both Lobbe's, Lund, White, Chabal, Peel, hodgson, Cueto, Mcallsiter, Foden, Lamont, Robinson, Tait etc...

Hence we won the Premiership in 2006

  • so true; but seemed to lose so many recently.

tigers have it for consistency, hence we won last year

  • yes

they had one hell of a back row in Jason White - Magnus Lund - Chabal when they were all at their peak

  • aussie here. robinson was pure hero. gretest wing ever. maybe even better than lomu//////////

  • yea but he is not as powerfull as lomu but deffinatly much better than him

  • But his power to size ratio is unbelievable

  • yes he did, for quite a while he just left to go back to france at the end of this season. And yes they are in the guinness premiership

  • yes and dont know.

  • hes did a well goos hand off

  • im a footbaal man myself but i have to say robinson was a special player

  • Robinson for Lions 09!

lol. We could do with him!

  • He has such blistering pace and accelaration ,

The world would want him !

  • A rugby genius, humble guy and a fantastic player. Am absolutely delighted he retired at the top as I only have good memories of him. THAT try for the Lions, THAT try for England and tries galore at club rugby. And a great bloke to boot.

  • Munster all the way till my dying day but sale are a great team to watch, jason robinson is Fuckin legend he's the reason i started playing fuckin miss that guy

  • All said in the spirit of rugby? What an unnecessarily negative comment. There are probably 4 teams to fear in the Magners league and about 10 in the GP. Granted, Munster turned Sale over comprehensively the other night but your season to date has been lack lustre. Munster look beatable and have been beaten convincingly of late. Just a shame your 'point to prove' came good against us on Friday night. You sound pretty petulent and spoilt... is your name O'Gara?

  • sale till i die

  • how fast he was by there i wud think he ad atleast 3 yrs left in him lol

  • jason robinson is a legend and is greatly missed at sale however with the team we have now i believe we can take the title and win the premiership this year

  • Wow...still sends a shiver down my spine...Jason Robinson is a true rugby legend

  • U have 2 buy the autoboography it's awesome, and the move they scored was wrong, Robinson wasn't meant 2 get the ball! Lol :D He prayed to have one last chance and he got it! How awesome!

  • Hello, I watched it back on the basis of what you said. I disagree, I'm afraid. It was clearly a training park move that cam from the set-piece scrum. Robinson picked his running line and timed his sprinted burst to perfection - no accident, that's why it was special! Granted, he didn't immediately figure in the line but that's always been his forte, to just 'appear' when required like the best of full backs.

  • No Robinson even said that the guy who passed him the ball messed it up...... Well something like that. Oh well it looks awesome anyway

  • Agreed, however it happened, totally awesome!

  • This guy is a Legend

  • was this the year they won the premiership in 2006???

  • No! Because then his last game would have been the premiership final wouldn't it! This is the 2006-2007 season. Cant believe you asked that question!

  • ok calm down- i dont know his last match exactly- gee whiz, calm down.

i did realise tho when this was added in april this year- it would make a bit more sense

  • sorry. I'm rugby mad!

  • i was watching sale on fri night against gloucester- and they really could have done with robinson back- they really dont have the speed to score tries.

it's just charlie hodsgon and his amazing kicks!!!!!

  • WOW BEST TRY EVERRRRRRRR

  • Robinson really has inspired me. As a small player he really inspires people who dont have the physical strength. Go Robinson.

Im now playing county as i have simulated his moves.

  • I get the small player bit but don't ever tell him you don't think he's got any physical strength. He's strong as an Ox!

  • I was there...amazing moment.

The video doesn't show this, but Robinson took a bad knock 5-10 minutes before the end. He could hardly stand up, let alone run, when he was down at our end for Bath's conversion. To then get his head down and score...blimey...bloody mindedness. Superb. Well played sir.

  • he was something special

  • ouè c sure

  • Wat a fuckin player n what a kick considering

  • What a legend!!!!!!!

  • i was at that game thanks to ian mason#!

  • i wa with u fanx to my dad who funded this expensive trip when someone charged us 10 for 6 pound tickets

  • Whats he doing now (apart from England) has he given up completely or is he going to join a small club? He lives near Macclesfield who have a decent side.

  • They may well have (and obviously I can't speak for JR) but I very much doubt he'll be playing for Macclesfield after a life in the top-flight! To my knowledge, he's retiring proper after the world cup and spending time with his family - that was his main reason for leaving Sale (though they mucked up in not offering him another contract in time, forcing his decision).

  • He's having his testimonial match in June some time. He's spending the rest of this year making a little nest egg for himself, touring and giving speeches ets.

Utter legend. For me the greatest player of all time.

  • JASON ROBINSONNN~~

  • Matt 855617 sorry but you can't even spell league! which just about sums it up, union is far superior. nobody ever changes from union to league except ex-league players. I'm a Leicester bloke but robbo is the best!

  • Now now guys, there's a place for both codes! I too prefer union; a more complex, involved and strategic game where the sensational bursts and moments of magic (like this one) are hard fought and exhilirating. That said, rugby league has a certain clean, free-flowing watchability to it. I'm glad we have both of them, let's play nice!

  • rugby leage better than union as shown here :D

  • Reminds me of LeTiss's last game at the Dell. (Although that was the last ever game at the Dell and MLT meant a little more to Southampton fans)

  • COME ON SALE !!!

P.S I was at that game, it was great

  • i miss robbo already but i heard hes playin 4 england soon!

  • A flash of vintage Jason Robinson.

Where to begin with the plaudits for this player?

I think one of the finest tributes was In July 2004 when the All Blacks were asked which England player they respected the most.

A quarter of them named Jason Robinson.

That was when the wee man was at his peak , but what do we see here? A shooting comet.... maybe just maybe that really BIG farewell has yet to come?

  • showed chev walker up didnt he

  • What a player - as you can see, he will be missed.
