So funny. I work at the front desk at a 4 star hotel in Savannah, GA. You are all RIGHT! It is the Priceline and Hotwire guests that are paying less than half our rate coming in demanding the moon and then some. Its so funny to me when they come in and say hey Im supposed to have a suite and riverview and balcony.... I'm like "Sir, all of those rooms are an additional charge and are not available through the discount internet rates."

I work in a restaurant, not a hotel. Sadly, this is the same thing we get at work. It's not even the one-star people that makes me mad. It's those parents who let their kids run and do everything they want in public because they themselves have no manners. Then, when one of their child gets hurt because he/she was running or CRAWLING, they attempt to sue. I'm sorry but either watch your f--king kids or don't take them out to a fast paced area in public and expect them to be immortal.

@MrJayChhun Oh no, don't assume one-star people means red necks. Manners don't mean you're rich. Being loud, obnoxious and generally displeasing is truly low class, no matter what your background is. Good point though, people need to pay attention to their kids or just stay at home and order out.

The price we have to pay to have liberties.

My family went on vacation to London last summer. The hotel where we stayed was a very luxurious. A family from Tennessee was staying in the room adjacent to mine. There were about five people in one room. They were noisy, obnoxious, disrespectful, horrid people. When we were checking out, i heard the man yell that he wanted a refund because "the room was a piece of crap." I had never been so embarrassed to be an American. :(
