@frosted1030 You can use many different techniques to make a model. I made this starting from polygon mesh in 3DS MAX, then refined in ZBrush. You can find many tutorials on the net about making models using photos as reference. Good luck!

Oh why oh why can't they do a remake or retelling of the Richard Donner Superman movies? They did it for the Foot Loose movie, they did it for Star Trek, they made a sequel for Tron, I even heard that they're are doing a reboot of Indiana Jones. Is it the hardest thing in the world to simply do a remake or retelling of the Richard Donner Superman movies??? I can picture them doing a trilogy of a remake or retelling to the Richard Donner Superman movies.

This was very well done, though there could have been perhaps some editing on the scenes of the crystals... overall it was very well done. The animation's looked nice and smooth, and your rendering of Reeves was spot on. Sort of wish the final "fly by" hadn't been so fast, it seemed rushed... but still completely within the sort of character that Reeves had given to "his" Superman. If you're looking for work in CGI for films... I'd encourage you to continue!

Well, I would have done much better and definitely faster job, if I had the time to fully concentrate on the project, but hey, don't get me wrong, no excuses, since I need to work for a living like everyone else, that's what you get after struggling for a year and a half to finish it my friend ;)

Hopefully I will find the time to do some more exiting animations in the future!

And I always look for interesting opportunity in CGI productions.

My 9-year-old cousin watched this clip and thought he was watching a clip from the actual Superman (1978) film which he'd seen for the first time a few weeks ago on DVD. He asked me if this clip was a deleted scene, that is how good your work is. I agree with one of those on here who said to make a full-length feature of a new Superman movie. You're GOOD!!!
