@sakurashinra really who? I love doctor who but I'm so oblivious to actors playing different parts ( I had to ask my mum if Gandof is also Dumbledore xp)
This is the best in the entire series... I love the first scene of the Childrens Hallowe'en Party - the whole feel of it... the visit of the crazy Witch... the characters are so well played... thanks so much for a great Hallowe'en treat !
hahahahaLLS.. Mrs. Oliver is something else. banging on the window...Girl: now what? Mrs. Oliver: jehovahs witnesses?! LOL/XXD/SMH she is terrible XXD
You know, ever since I read my first Poirot book, "Dead Man's Folly", I have been obsessed with this person! I admire his skills and I'm totally obsessesed with murder mystery and crime....I wanna be a lawyer too someday..even though Poirot is a detective.....Jeez I'm only 14, I can't really tell them apart!!!! Lawyers and detectives are both cool jobs that's all I know!
@kimiariaXD You're welcome, and thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. I was obsessed with Agatha Christie and Arthur Conan Doyle novels when I was your age.
No, children do die in other stories: Murder is Easy (a boy called Tommy) and also in Crooked House (where a teenage girl dies who is also the murderer), just a couple I thought of, there are more I think.
@MrFatcat2027 Yes, I'd forgotten about the boy pushed out the window in Murder Is Easy. And I've forgotten what happens in The Crooked House - I haven't read it since I was a teenager.
@deedeedragons In "And Then There Were None," Vera Claythorne, one of the guests invited to Indian Island by Mr. U. N. Owen, was accused of the drowning death of a boy named Cyril Ogilvie Hamilton some years earlier. She was his governess at the time.
@Fastpenfold Her name is Fenella Woolgar. She played Agatha Christie on Doctor Who in the seventh episode of season four called "The Unicorn and The Wasp."
@Watersei I couldn't agree more. And she is such a kind person too ! I talked to her when she was playing All My Sons at the Apollo Theater in London and she is one of the nicest person I've ever met !
@ecomom1000 Sorry I missed reading your comment 'til now! This episode was grouped with The Clocks, Orient Express & Three Act Tragedy and aired just last year.
Oh, great actors. Zoë Wanamaker is great and that Mrs. Goodbody... Scary!

okay when i said i can't tell them apart i was exaggerating!
i know the difference but wat i mean is that they both have to find the guilty person and they both need evidence from the crime scene and etc.

I thought in Dead Man's Folly, a fourteen year old girl is murdered....there that's another poirot episode with a murdered teen/kid!

Isn't this the ONLY Christie story where children/teenagers die?
deedeedragons 8 months ago
@deedeedragons I've read all of the books and I don't remember any other story in which a child is murdered.

@NotDinsdale orient express the little girl is murdered years before the story if that counts..

What a strange game to play. But being an American, I suppose I'd see it as strange.

Zoe has some of the best lines!! :D
"Why a Fin?"
"I've often wondered..."
and
"What now?"
"Jehovah's Witnesses?"
LOL the episodes with Ariadne are some of the best. Of course it's always a real treat to see David and Zoe together :-)
