David, thanks for the great review. I have these pedals and have been pretty happy with them. However, I have a question I hope you can help with. On my slave pedal, the kick plate keeps striking the clamp underneath. My slave pedal includes the clamp for mounting to a kick drum. Is there a way to adjust the travel of the kick plate so it doesn't move down so far? I adjusted the beater positioning, but that also adjusts the kick plate so that doesn't fix the problem.
Great review. I would have loved to see a performance test, but I'll definitely take your word for it if you're saying it's a solid purchase for the value.
Hi davidshek. I only have a (single) destroyer pedal.
I wanna try to play double bass and i'm thinking of maybe order this DP-500.
The question is,i'm happy with my destroyer pedal;do you think i'll like the DP-500 more than the destroyer or will i be disapointed and miss my destroyer.?
The destroyer was a kinda cheap pedal too so i guess it can be compared to the DP-500.Are these two pedals equal in term of "esay to play",and "joy to play" (the most important to me)
@tarponsalltheway almost exactly 9" from the toe stopper to the hinge of the heelplate, and the heelplate is 2" long. That 9" is actually 0.25" longer than the footboard on my Pearl Eliminator P-2000C.
Any comments on how well or poorly this works with the Kick Rocker? Noticed any loss in sensitivity with the beaters not being directly over the piezo element?

Dude I had some of these. THEY SUCK ASS!! If you are a beginner drummer then get these but once you've played for around 6 months, then upgrade

@davidshek Thanks for the reply. You're the first person that has responded to that question after I posted it on multiple videos.

Should I buy a re branded version of these, or used flying dragons?
btw, payback should be on RBN.

Payback will be! As it says underneath it on the title screen ;)
I can't tell you how to decide between $80 and $350 pedals man...

Just dont use the round heads that come out. I personally have big trouble with speed on them. Use the flat ones!
