@soyntgo4it unfortunately for you, the R tronic gearbox in the R8's were 7-speed, not 6. As you can see from the gated shifter, there's only 6 speeds... The 6-speed gearboxes in R8s never came in R tronic, only in traditional manual. NICE TRY THOUGH!

Don't tell me the car's a 7 speed either, because the farthest left gear is reverse.

@soyntgo4it up until 2008, the only transmissions offered were the 6-speed manual (which Audi sourced from Lamborghini, which is why the shifter gates in this car are the same EXACT in the Gallardo). This was changed after the v10 was introduced.

This can only be the 6 speed manual because of the fact you can choose what gear to go into. Sequentials only give the option to shift up/down BECAUSE THEY'RE SEQUENTIAL. There should be a sport button under the shifter if it was R-tronic too, nice try

Furthermore, the MANUAL has the gear sequence listed on the shift knob, 1st to 6th and Reverse. The Automatic shifter's knob only says "R8" on it.
