  • take that back the opened for metallica the next year in minneapolis.

  • well u could have the live videocassette like i do. Bought it at local record store 20 yrs ago probably. was big into them and didnt see them live for about ten years later when they opened for metallica.

  • 1000x better than original.

  • @angeldustnights3000 Wish the piano intro would've stayed in this version, but aside from that - definitely.

  • ONE DAY, YOU'RE THINKING THAT MAYBE... YOU'RE FEELING YOU'RE BETTER. YOU'D PROBABLY BE OKAY IF YOU ONLY HAD A JOB!!

  • I have the original FNM tape pre-Patton and have always loved this song. Thanks for posting another version--love this version too.

  • why am I only hearing this now???? incredible. where can i get it??

  • @robertcinemafilms To my knowledge, this song was only released on two CDs: The Australian version of Angel Dust and the "Special Edition" Easy single. Both are long since out of print and very difficult to come across. Be VERY cautious if you go shopping for the Easy single as there are several different versions available. Expect to pay $30 + for it.

  • @robertcinemafilms it's on the original Japan release of the album.

  • this one should be called Epic too

  • The original version + Patton's voice = perfect.

  • The outtakes from Angel Dust are among the very best songs they ever did (this and The World is Yours), which really shows that those sessions was the creative peak of FNM.

  • oh man this is the fucking shit.

  • @KillaSpinna >> the bassline

  • fuckin masterpiece

  • Holy shit.. just ran into this song today...

  • Damn it, why the hell didn't they record Patton singing Mark Bowen during these sessions... :-/

  • @McDylbot There are a few HQ live versions available. Nothing compares to this, though.

  • @artiegohome, I have a few decent live recordings, and I've ripped HQ mp3s of their entire Download set (which obviously included MB), and I've even recorded my own cover of it, but I'd absolutely love to hear a Patton studio version...

  • thanks for this.and to all you other guys out there for keepin the faith.literally.i had this on tape.i dont any more.

  • I've been listening to FNM for more than half my life... I love, love, love these guys. Always will.

  • Awh man... this is the best.

  • This is the best song ever.

  • this song makes wannabe poser bands hang their heads in shame

  • "Man when Faith No More covers this live its amazing they should record a version for an album *Searches* Oh they did...COOL"

  • "Epic"

  • See this song is awsome with either of them. And the songs were somewhat changed and you can tell because of the backing music an example is that there is a record stratching in the mike patton one. Like what DJs do. I think both ones have their ups and downs but they are equally as good

  • should've been on the album -b side..love this version sums up how the band sounded live at this stage

  • My god, I had no idea that there was a studio version with Patton, thank you so much for posting this...where was featured? I've lost most of my cds from my divorce lol...I swear , if this was a hidden track on something I had, I'm gonna kick myself so damn hard!

  • @WarInBed This version was originally found on the Japanese import version of Angel Dust.

  • @TRex0086 thanks for the info! Glad to know I was not looking on my cds and missing it lol....didn't have the Japanese import! Thanks again!

  • @WarInBed Not a problem!! Glad I could help out!!

  • where can i get an mp3 version of this? what album was this on? (the patton version I mean)

  • @KvltKommando recorded at the angel dust sessions..but not on no album unfortunately..pirate bay this bad boy isn't it.

  • @jaytv777 thanks found it on the japanese version of angel dust

  • chuck's version is way better

i think mike is awesome so dont hate on me heh

  • Chuck sung it, Patten perfected it!

  • @bigredmudcrab

I firmly disagree: Chuck version sounds better

  • @bigredmudcrab I gotta agree

  • @bigredmudcrab You might say the song was.... PATTENTED? YYYEEEAAAHHH

  • the live version on the best of is way better

  • Wow...I didn't know songs made me jizz this muchO_O

  • excelente perro, tremenda versiòn

  • @guertler1967 Seriously...? Are you mental dude...? You must be....! Mike Patton is without doubt the most versatile vocalist around. From soft ballads to angry rock, he can do it all. You sir, truly are a fuck-stick...

  • Where can I download this?

  • ur problably an ok person if u only had a job...awsome song got a vid on here im drivin down interstate 85 jamin on this yea use to have this version actually its what i play on the mp3 in the car same version kool

  • ur problably an ok person if u only had a job...awsome song got a vid on here im drivin down interstate 85 jamin on this

  • fuck me this is amazing - just think if he did the first 2 albums too

  • @eitanavni I like the first two albums just the way they are.

  • if you only had a job!!!!

  • incredible! i love the original but this is a great recording of this song. where the fuck did u get this? I thought I had everything that these guy had put out. apparently not. great upload

  • Love Mike Patton. Always have, always will. I must say that this song, "As The Worm Turns", fits Chuck better.

  • This version was not off Angel Dust was it? I have this album, sans this track..

  • A-MAZING!!!!

  • im not sure where to find this song. i love this version better than chuck mosley's version even though both versions are great.

  • @robotface74 @Freshbrood This song was recorded during the 'Angel Dust' sessions and is included as the last track on certain Japanese editions of the album. It was also a b-side for the Australian single release of 'Midlife Crisis'.

  • @robotface74 on the angel dust album

  • @zuneoarctico LA TOCARON WEON!!!! =D

  • they played this song in chile =)

  • @Merdriarok La tocaron !!!

  • god damn i love this song so much!

  • before i heard the song i was thinkin about comment i like them both... but when i hear it i prefer chuck version.

and thank you UndyingFury for uploading this rare!

  • i like the original, but THIS WAY BETTER 2 ME

  • I would love to have an MP3 of this!

  • WOW have heard Patton do this song live but never a studio version

    This is incredible!

  • The songs that FNM didn't feel the need to include on their major label releases are better than anything new bands are putting out as singles.

  • @artiegohome Absolutely.

  • NO WORDS... FROM ITALY LOVE LOVE LOVE HATE HATE WORLD... PEOPLE WHO STUDY AND WORK TO DESTROY EVERYTHING... NO WORDS... DESTROY DESTROY.... MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY..... NO WORDS.... DESTROY TO GAIN MONEY... KILL FOR MONEY... LIVE FOR MONEY AND KILL FOR IT...

  • @guertler1967 nobody likes you, and learn how to spell. fucking idiot. You're 43 and you can't even spell destroyed? Go back and listen to your depeche mode.

  • @guertler1967 true we care alot is great but patton has a better singing voice, if you dont like it dont listen or adress your concerns with the band, guy

  • @guertler1967 gosh you must be a fully non-conformist or simply a ret**ded person. if the 1967 in your ID is your YOB I think I could give up my hopes lol

  • I love this song :D

  • @guertler1967

you're prolly the biggest idiot i had ever seen on YT.

  • This song is so awesome, I prefer the live version on This Is It though.

  • @guertler1967 spoken like someone who truely doesnt have a clue, FNM were medicore to say the least before Patton saved em..................

  • @guertler1967 he's one of the most respect vocalist...i mean chuck mosley was good but do you think he could pull off doing the vocals for the zombies from i am legend...case in point

  • @guertler1967 Moseley got kicked out of the band for taking drugs and drinking all the time so blame him

  • Awesome! FNM should've released an EP or something of re-recorded songs from We Care A Lot with Patton on Vocals!

  • This song is so great live!

  • Jesus God what a great song

  • FNMs best song, this will be playing in the background through my wake. Gotta put that in the will.

  • what happened to chuck mosely anyway...does anyone know?

  • @BhaktaRhett type in chuck mosely tractor and see

  • @BhaktaRhett There is a video of chuck preforming with fnm at one of the shows in san fran recently, really cool for the guys to have him on stage. so he is alive it is on utube here somewhere.

  • I didn´t even know this existed in a version with Mike on vocals. Great. Thank you very much!

  • I wish they recorded this like the way Mike did it in Brixton, but this is awesome too...

I'm NOT a Mosley fan at all...

  • The 2 people who did not like this must be tone deaf....or worse.

  • they played it yesterday on the athens' show, it was incredible though I was the only one that was singing...

dude, just google youtube audio extractor and get it that way =) thats what i'm doing

  • @fiendfilms i did that but i want better quality

  • @zordanlija

    ah, i see =P

  • Faith no More rocks!!!!!!

  • I love early FNM with chuck and that raw sound but patton shines again!

  • where the fuck can i download this? like a regular quality version i dont want to rip the audio from this vid.

  • Oh man this is freakin' awsome! Had this on a Jap import of Angel Dust, not heard this in years. Thanks Dude!

  • Where can I get this version? I've been looking for it for a long time.

  • whoa sounds a bit like early chuck mosley FNM stuff, hes got a version? oh, it is then is it? but it they redid it? its great, either way! i can't stop watching mike patton videos :D he is the man!! :D hes so great its hard to even find the words :D

  • I like Mosley's version better since it's more raw but Patton did a pretty good job

  • Comment removed

  • There's only two types of music, good music and bad music. This is good music. Both versions in your case, and that's fair enough.

  • OLALAAAAAA!

  • This and Cowboy song are my two favorite FNM songs.

  • i'd love this version more if it wasn't for the scratching sound effects.

  • It's beautiful song !!!

  • Intense and really good. Sadly too short.

  • FNM's hidden gem. Best song IMO.

  • *fap, fap, fap*

  • spadóóówa !

  • Fuck me dead iz this the best band to walk the face of this top 40 forsaken planet or what, FNM u rock.....

  • They should release this to everyone and not on some rare fucking cd you have to order from some other country. This song is amazing with Pattons vocals. Shit, they should have done a new version of "Why do you bother".

  • What is it about this song that I have to hear in loop like 3x before letting go and doing it again in a couple of hours!

  • @CoughSyrp

I have no idea, but i've got the same symptoms xD

  • my fave FNM song, thanks for posting it.

  • I like the raw sound of the Mosley version better but Patton did a really good job I 'm glad he didn't go overboard like he usually does when he sings a lot of Mosley's songs

  • i absolutely love this song with Chuck Mosley's vocals, but with Patton's its just unreal, too good, words can't begin to express it.

  • love this song guey.

  • Fuck. It's only 2:40...I could listen to this on repeat for the rest of my life...for a 2:40 song, this is absolutely amazing. I cannot believe my ears.

  • OH. MY. FUCKING. GAWD.

this is my new FNM song!!

  • i really think this might be FNM's best song,

its the collaboration of the Mosley age of songs, with Patton's voice,

    just incredible

  • I completely agree. Why this track is so elusive is beyond me, because it's fucking incredible. Brixton DVD is worth getting for this song alone.

  • Essa versão é da edição japonesa do Angel Dust ( Bonus track of the japanese edicton).

  • donde puedo conseguir el audio de este tema en mp3? me encanta!

  • download mp4 from youtube and convert to mp3

  • OMFG, FNM the best group ever. I adore this song, just... awesome.

Patton is a fucking genious, Mike for president!

5 stars + fav, good job.

  • the greatest song ever *-*

  • Wow. No shit. Please tell me where I can get this. It doesn't sound like Jim Martin. Is it King for a Day era?

  • no. It was on the special edition of Angel Dust. If you listen, his vocals are the same as the rest of the songs. His voice would be a lot different if it was king for a day era.

  • definitely one of FNM's best tunes, Mosley couldn't sing to save himself but was a part of the original band, for that he will always have my respect, Patton is an amazing vocalist, one of the best frontmen ever, to think that he originally signed up with FNM to promote Bungle, hahaha, classic, hoping to see them for the third time next year, they don't come down to godzone often.

  • FNM at there best

  • easily one of the best FNM songs of all time

  • FNM is so good musicianship wise that i cringe every time I hear theirs songs with Mosley because he is such a terrible singer.

Dont get me wrong, I think his song writing is interesting, but his songs are much better when sang by Patton.

Patton is so much better then Mosley especially with the quality of music FNM puts out.

  • Uhm, I don't like Mosley better than Patton, but the first 2 CDs with Mosley were pretty good IMHO.

  • if you were like offended or sumthing by my comment, im sorry. i just joke around like that sumtimes.

  • Oh no, I wasn't offended! I don't take any comments personally because most of the time it's joking around.

  • ok. i thought u might have been, so i was just making sure..

  • this version is EPIC

  • Comment removed

  • this is by far the best song patton did that they already had written on the we care alot album

  • Very cool to hear this, but I'll always pefer to hear Chuck sing his own songs. I wish Chuck was part of the reunion. Patton singing Chinese Arithmatic just isn't as fun as Chuck, even if Mike is a technically "better" singer. Can't wait to see them in Feb in Sydney!

  • Chuck wrote some good songs but vocally is a douche. Chinese Arithmatic at download festival is fuckign awesome

  • Ive been looking for this for 19 years! I cannot believe it. This is amazing stuff. I had a friend who had this on a CD that was extra to the Angel Dust CD. We lived in Australia and I have never heard it since. Thankyou for posting this lost treasure. I could only remember about three words, but enough to find it here!! Very fucking cool!!! FNM is beyond description. Feel lucky to have lived through that time. Bloody good shit!!!!

  • @johnnymwal going wednesday to see em. My first time, and i can't FkN wait!!!!!!!!!

  • @differentbeing catching my plane in a few hours to see them tonight. I'm sooooo stoked. I'm glad it's a pretty small venue. Good times are upon us =)

  • This version is way fucking better! PATTON RULES!

  • hell yeah. mosley sounded like he was congested and had no emotions on his version.

  • you like mosely more than patton? wtf......

  • yes he had more additude and he was more energetic live, patton is good but like i usually say he usually butchers Mosely songs like Mark Bowen, Chinese Arithmatic and others, although he did a good job on this song

  • Chuck Mosley New Album features Jonathan davis (Korn) Roddy Bottum (Faith no more) John 5 (rob Zombie)

    out tommorow

  • yeah, this really is a great version of an already great song. i actually like the chuck years, i think his limited voice on the original of this song suited it well. but patton shows he can do it all...

  • Gonna see them after tomorrow here in Portugal :)

  • man, i can't believe they didn't put this on VBUDGHC (Very Best Ultimate Definitive Greatest Hits Collection).

  • This totally could've been on Angel Dust.

  • Very well done version of the original!

  • great old school, keep on rocking FNM and hang in thewir too mike patton, mike brodin and the rest of this great band, nuff said.

  • Awesome song! Thanks

  • Just when I thought I had heard it all!

    Thanks fella!
