im curious... if u have an mcp1K why do u seem to dig more the mpd? I myself own an mpc and love it (although i dont even know 50% of it), but dont get how mpd can be superior

@mynmyself seems to me like the 1k is of a better build but limited to only what it can do, sounds obvious, but the mpd is only the interface of it, all the thinking is done in the computer so you can make it do anything, a lot more versatile, and easier to set up or alter, then think that you don't need to bother with recording much because it's all done in the same place, and for one thing it's a lot cheaper. the only advantage of the 1k I see now is it's standalone, and a little nostalgic
