the poor drawing gives the impression of a childlike world view, thus opening our minds to the way a child thinks, innocent and naive. it makes us both nostalgic but also glad we have matured. the characters blending together in really stupid ways is a metaphor for how our childhood becomes twisted with age, sometimes mixing things with others. the cheesy romance is a reminder of our first crush. this isnt the horrible afterbirth of an idiot. this is pure genius.
