  • Colourful description and rich cornish accent...........smashing !

Best not let the kids dwell on it though....LOL

  • what does he say around 1:02 lol

  • a bunch of secret poachers ,, theyres deer in tham thayre hills,

  • So you can 3-d shoot but you cannot bowhunt. Are you'll working on getting that changed.

  • Cornwall isn't English. Get used to it.

You may have annexed it like China got hold of Tibet, but it doesn't belong to you.

  • Please be aware that Cornwall is territorially separate to England.

It is by virtue of this that I am in receipt of exceptional advantage - these include freedom from taxes, receipt of bona vacantia, exemption from planning restrictions and the ability to control court and parliamentary proceedings.

To insinuate otherwise as has been done may necessitate subsequent legal action.

  • @HRHDukeofCornwall A bit like the wicker man

  • This is about archery aint it not about if cornish men are English, who gives a toss about it just few sad old farts who got nothing better to do cause upset.

  • It would be just about archery if the poster hadn't called the place "England". People tried to make out that the SAn cricket and rugby tours were nothing to do with politics. Of course they were. The South African Rugby Union wouldn't let blacks in. If that isn't political, what is?

    Calling Cornwall English is political.

    "few sad old farts"

Some people say the same about those who shoot arrows into straw targets. But I'm not that uncharitable. :)

  • Good to know that I, and an increasing number of folk, enjoy being Cornish NOT English. Good to get an education in history, language, culture, to back up the "feel" of being Cornish. You cannot take away the Spirit from a People....in this case, us Cornish.

    Proper Job.

Sorry...we are not English. Just accept, and show some respect.

  • Unfortunately, some would rather bury their heads in the sand, and pretend the issue doesn't exist.

Lowest GDP in the UK. Devolution in Scotland and Wales has improved those places no end, and it would do the same for Cornwall. Tens of thousands of people in Cornwall have already signed a badly publicised petition for home rule, so why the hell aren't their "democratic" representatives doing anything?

  • Cornwall is not English. Even in 1546 "Britaine is divided into four parts whereof one is inhabited by Englishemen, the other by Scottes, the third by Wallesmen and the fowerth by CORNISH peoples" - Polydore Vergil - plenty more where that came from. See cornishnotenglish dot com

  • has Cornwall become a self governing republic or monacrhy? I don't think so. It is governed by Westminster just like the rest of England. We live in the 21st century not the 16th.

  • Too right we live in the 21st century, not the 16th, when the effort was put into assimilating everyone into "nation states". It's time to recognise Cornwall - that's the future, not the past.

  • The Russians failed after hundreds of years of trying to assimilate their neighbours... no one really questions that the breakup of the Soviet Union took place in the 20th century, not the 16th.

  • Nice. Type in shotbow in the search box and take a look at what this guy has. It will change everything if made.
