Could anyone possibly make a video like this about any other centre back in the world? NO. And all the footage in this clip is shot before his 20th birthday. He's had a lot of injury problems the last 2 years, and his mother died recently, but he'll be back and get even better. But he should be a defensive midfielder: better defensive skills than Gattuso, big and strong, and with vision and passing like Pirlo or Cesc. Who wouldn't want a defensive midfielder like that in their starting lineup??

Good move by Hughes to want to play him out in midfield. He has just got too much vision and technique for a central defending role.
He should never have gone to hamburg.
