Thanks for showing the location of the key for getting to the Valley Fortress. I remember when I was young and I couldn't find the key and I thought the Fortress would lead you to a water level since you can see the small part of water on the right lol.

There was a secret key in Valley of Bowser 2, to go threw the back door of bowsers castle in 2:05 you had to fly up to the other side

The one thing i love about Super Mario World is that it doesnt punish you for making mistakes, you're able to enjoy the whole game without being annoyed. Very clever Nintendo. There's only a couple of levels that you will have to redo. I love the fact you can go back to an easy level and tool up for the more challenging ones. The game is playable time after time again, even on the Wii. Nintendo were best at platform!

Valley Fortress is a real problem for me! I cleared everything but that one.  I'de like to move on to Star Road Special, but I first must get Valley Fortress! I'm two jumps away from the red door! Larry's Castle was tough until I found the Midway Gate.

On the first red dot you cleared, you have the way to the Valley Fortress. Could you please tell me the cheat for that? I tried EVERYTHING, from Yoshi's flying section to clearing the course at the end, everything. Could you please tell me? Thanks.

2:38 It's been a while since I've played super mario world, but I remember every time I did that fortress it usually scares the crap outta me cuz of those falling from the ceiling; especially in the end where one of the spikes erupts up from the ground.

On the oringinal SNES I could glitch here, I could get in the brown non walk places, somtimes I would get crushed/killed, but I could glitch, and do wierd stuff here. Walk around in the middle of the brown areas, as if the collision detection was bugged or something.

This game is so easy to hack now with Lunar Magic, make your own challenge now.

I beat this game on my gba handheld but it took me two times at the end coz this asshole customer kept asking me what game it was. I eventually told him to shut the hell up and let me be. (luckily I was off the clock so he couldn't do shit)

But other than that it's a very easy fame to beat if you concentrate.

the first way u get it is to beat the first ghost area on donut land and get a secret secret door then kill the big ghost than it opens up the star place,watch on my channel smw beaten in 10:38 min,to show u

@sesshougirl if I remember right, if you did one of the ghost houses on the donut plains after you left yoshi's island (The ghost house by a pipe and you'll need the key to get to the star), there's a star portal that will take you to the star world. The other ghost house (after you use the key) will take to a secret path with the "top secret" area, where you can get free feathers and mushroom; plus a yoshi in the middle.
