  • Vv your a dumb fuck. We are all fighting for the same side. Your an ego maniac thinking your in the marines all better. I know the rangers and army special forces better than the marines. But we are fighting for the same side.

  • Haha...fuck the calvary, any mos in the army can't compare to a marine. You fucks are a bunch of boy scouts. You're a fuckin pussy, anyone can be a soldier. Aren't- Really- Marines- Yet....go fuck yourself.

  • Bitch u fuckin army fag you wouldn't do a fuckin thing, I spent 10 years in the marine corps lame, your basic and your whole fuckin branch is a bunch of fat fuckin lops. Say what you say but you bitches know what's up faget.

  • @judynjerm The very few that made it, the just-happy-to-still-be-alive, the marines. hehehehe

    Get fucked guy

    ^^^US ARMY CAVALRYYYYY!!!!!

  • Seriously, blacks can't swim, I'm black and on my HSU swim team......

  • When did the mos change from 00B? Guess I'm an "old school" diver now. Class 90-20-2C.

  • Can I be an army diver if I am red green colorblind

  • this is one of the hardest Jobs ever, there were so many re-classes from this MOS in my AIT. they said people would get restarted because they cant hack it and eventually they just started to quit. out off 200 people about 30 make it

  • 0:13 huge lie

  • @gtfonow1 and you know this how?

  • I hav e a ton of Respect for the Army but as a 10 year Navy vet I have to honestly say if you want to be a diver, NAVY is where its at!!!

  • ill join just for those shorts!

  • Muff diver

  • are there a lot of openings in this mos? im thinking this or 35m. whats an average day like? i really like the prospect of underwater demolition!

  • Army Diver??? The US Army is a LAND-BASED military branch. Why does it have DIVERS??? For a few missions I can understand, regular soldiers, counter-trained in Diving, but why not leave diving to the Navy and Coast Guard?

  • @TubeBent if thats the case then why does the navy need Seals when there are the Rangers, Green Berets, Delta Force, Marine Recon, and Air Force PJ for special forces combat roles...?

  • @TubeBent Its not as if this MOS is a big one. Its a real small MOS and from what I understand has no more than 200 divers.

  • Navy divers don't do demotions, recon missions and completely lack on any type of soldiering skills, unless you become underwater construction diver which are part of the Navy CBs (Construction Battalions). As an army diver you can do demotions, and have many other training opportunities such as airborne, air assault, pathfinder, ranger and others.

  • diver and 88k anyone one sell me army diver shirt or tell me how get one thx ahead

  • boring

  • Well there were 17 swimmers at my high school (in New York City) None of which were white, and of the 17 I was in 2nd place. The rest were Hispanic and Black as well. All strong swimmers, I myself was the best free style swimmer the number one guy was the best butterfly we had. And we didn't compete on a national level, I said I was top 3 in my school we went against maybe 4 other schools during the year so.. yeah.

  • Is eyesight an issue ?

  • there is only 1 dive school that both the army and navy use

  • @dubraybuckeye13 there is only 1 dive center that both the navy and army use to train divers

  • If this is 12D, then why did it show them goin to the Navy dive school?

  • they showed a black woman in the dive school LOL

if she wasnt an actor, theres no way she made it haha

  • @cman904xFLAX You sir, are an idiot.

  • @xRisinx c'mon everyone knows blacks cant swim lol.

and add to the fact that shes a woman...

  • @cman904xFLAX I'm black and I graduated top 3 in swimmers in high school.

  • @xRisinx I highly suspect that to be complete bullshit.

Whats that even mean!?! I played sports in h.s., I'm not a gullible idiot.

What post season tournament did you place in???

...the fact that you said "top 3" also screams bullshit, most would just say 1st, 2nd, or 3rd

AND even if its true... big whoop, giving an example of one good black swimmer does not make me change my opinion that many (more % wise than other races) are not good swimmers

  • @cman904xFLAX Cullen Jones is black, and he's an olympic swimmer. So yeah, pretty sure hes better than anyone posting on this video.

  • @xRisinx once again...one good black swimmer does not mean blacks are good at swimming.

    the majority suck at it.

(and i guess your "top 3" statement WAS bullshit)

  • @cman904xFLAX i gotta agree with this.for that matter, most combat units are predominately white as well. i'm not saying this as some kinda racist,(especially considering im polynesian) its just simple fact. i remember when we did drown proofing.most of the black guys sunk like a box of rocks and were as comfortable and graceful as an m-1 tank in the ocean.

  • @shoobee101 thank you, there is some truth to certain stereotypes. Just like how blacks are a lot more naturally muscular. They were bred that way during slavery. Just the facts.

  • @cman904xFLAX No that is why Europeans and Americans cut off the legs or arms because of the stature of the African men. They did that before slavery begun, they were monsters just like our Testicles. As we call it MANDIGO!!!!

  • @cman904xFLAX most people who arent familiar in the water suck. give them a chance and then make your judgement.

  • THOOOOSSSEEE SHORTS!!!geez

  • Its funny how they show female divers in this video when no females have ever made it through dive school

  • @Mrjavifff:

Not true. I've known a few females who made it.

  • @GunNut1993 can be both be combat diver only for SF units

  • what diff between this and navy diver?

  • jesus christ whats with the shorts lol

  • 0.54 those BDUs should have been tossed months before...

  • lol a mile and half thats nothing

  • im diggin those shorts at 1:58. do i get a pair when i enlist?

  • No offense. But what type of civilian job can someone get when completing their military time as a 12D (Diver)?? It seems that all that rigorous training leads to nothing in the private sector. Not worth it if you ask me.

  • @GalaxyVoyage1 there a plenty of jobs. private sectors like commercial, but also there are jobs with police for diving and also starting your own dive boat where u make trips to where ever. this is the mos i picked

  • @fightview100 police work, commercial diving and your own business for dive trips and such

  • Good luck diving in Iraq

  • its funny how they make a very hard mos seem so easy...the army has a tendency to do that

  • Actually the Navy divers are trained by the Army, so it makes sense to go to the source quillermob3 faggotface mcballscock.

  • @ballsmcfarlane Really? Thats why it called NDSTC, NAVAL Diving & Salvage Training Center?

  • Wait did I hear it correctly a mile and a half run?

  • @rotccadet2010 Yeah and before that you do your push ups and pull ups among other things all back to back and then the run. With only a short rest in the middle.

  • @IrishPuglover3565 Well what I'm surpised about is that I thought that the Army did a 2 mile run and not a mile and a half

  • @rotccadet2010 a regular army pt test is a two mile run certain jobs have different one

  • @kingheinz57 Oh ok thanks I get it now

  • @rotccadet2010 yeah thats just the pre req to get into the program though. once you get there the training is alot harder. if i remember correctly a recruiter was telling me 6 mile runs every morning in boots. which idk how true that is but i know that it is a pretty awesome swim school you have to go through too.

  • Just wondering, what is the difference between army divers and navy divers? Other than their difference branches.

  • @napoleon99100 probably no difference at all.

  • its 12 delta by the way.

  • divers do a lot more than just salvage.

  • I bet a shitload of people fail out of this MOS

  • whats the diference between Navy and Army divers though? do Army divers just do more in an inland setting(rivers, lakes, etc.)?

  • They got females in this MOS now, this used to be 00 bravo combat diver.

  • @lacachiporra and whats wrong with females in this job if they can pull their own weight?

  • @brennabacardi Boobs make em float too easy. Cant dive if ur floating.

  • @scuds03 not if they are implants! just a random fact i saw on the man show hahaha or whatever that show was called it was some kind of manly show whatever. besides thats what weight belts are for silly :) hahaha. I didnt end up joining the navy for this job anyways i got tired of the navy and joined the Marines instead lol.

  • @brennabacardi booooooobbbies

  • @scuds03 everyone loves em. haha

  • My best friends Husband is training right now to be a diver. I wish him all the best of luck. He has already made it through the first 3 days....Woohoo...We are proud of you PVT. Bein a Diver aint easy! (thats what ive heard)....Congrats to all you Divers who have made it and thank you to all our soldiers! God bless you!

  • They should just use the Navy for stuff like this. Thats the point of the Navy right?

  • Notice that all the instructors were Navy. Even the decompression and such was taught by a Navy Corpsman (medic). It's the Navy scene, but fine-tuned to the Army's needs.

  • The difference is the Navy Diving School is huge and the Army's small, they differ in tasks as well.

  • The Army has Divers ? Wow , never knew that. Thought it was the Navy Job

  • On the contrary to what?

  • I have so rarely met a Army diver , its hard

  • hmm the army has divers can anyone tell me the difference in duty for a army diver VS a navy diver? I know they go to the same navy run school just like EOD.

    thanks

  • those shorts look a little snug

  • ahh i love my job.. diving is my life

  • I'm so totally going to be an Army Diver! Heck, my room is filled with posters and other stuff.

  • My room has a tank phathead. My wallpaper has m1a2 and humvees on it. I can pretty much say i have on obsession. Every week i wanna be a different MOS. I def am interested in exploding shit. lol.

  • The physical test sounds easy..

  • might as well join the fucking navy if you want this mos

  • true that, or the coast guard

  • Actually. The coast guard eliminated their deep sea diving program a decade ago.

  • Divers are actually open for the Army, whereas the Navy has no openings for it..

  • @sgtmac11

on the contrary, I just got a 21D traing slot, the last slot available

  • On the contrary to what, booyakasha?

  • diver slots aren't really open, i got mine because i was extremely lucky with the time i took the asvab, and i waited the extended weekend to choose a job. i just got back from swearing in today, and i leave for ft knox in 3 weeks. not much advance notice. someone dropped out last minute

  • On the contrary, I see a few slots open as I type this. Btw, I'm an Army Recruiter ;p

  • well then I won't argue with that then, all i know is that as of 20091230 there were no slots open. on 20100104 there was 1 open.

there may have been a few more recruits who didn't sign the paperwork in time.

a shame for them, but better for me.

  • @booyakasha69696969

It's cool.. There are many different recruiting battalion's in the US, and each are given x amount of positions for certain MOS's. You may have got the last slot for your location, but there is bound to be more across the country. :)

  • @guillermob3 its for scouting dumbass

  • @jenna0528 Really could you give me an example of some of the scouting missions they go on in Iraq or Afghanistan? Exactly its fucking useless so dont comment my shit if you dont know what the fuck youre talking about understood!

  • @guillermob3 guess wat shit bag i said it was for SCOUTING i never said it was useful in iraq. maybe u should stop trolling and listen to the fucking video! people like u ruin youtube because u have to rain on everyones parade so stop being a jackass and pay attention UNDERSTOOD!

  • @jenna0528 well now that we got that whole scouting thing out the way - let me explain to you what this MOS does to show you I was listening. They salvage a bunch of junk and clear harbors so in other words theyre the Armys aquatic clean up crew to put it nicely. You must be from the Navy with your sensitive ass don't like what im saying tough deal with - it act like if you had a pair alright.

  • @guillermob3 they say "SCOUT for safe troop crossings" so unless u are a diver in the army u wouldn't know OK so one again listen to the video because i dont beileve that u are in the army or know anything so listen to the damn video

  • this is my job fucker. dont join it. i dont know u but i dont want u in this job u fagget. got it?

  • @cindycortes1 hahaha don’t flatter yourself keep your MOS - I joined the Army to be a soldier more specifically an Infantryman - not to be on a navy base or be surrounded by a bunch of sailors so stay with your MOS I mean someone has to fill-in the POG positions plus you wouldn’t be able to hang with the Infantry fagget !

  • rofl. quiet lil boy. we had infantry failed this class before n this mos not for everyone is a shame that women can do a HARDER JOB then a man.

  • @NoXAdmiral - wow really INFANTRY have failed diver classes no shit!!! I bet less than 10% of all the divers couldn’t even survive INFANTRY OSUT - I don’t care that women can do this MOS I was just pointing out is usefulness & effectiveness in today’s conflicts because somebody dared to compare the two which in reality, diver does not belong in the same sentence as INFANTRY just saying so don't get your panties in wad - no pun intended

  • @guillermob3 What do you think the us army special forces dive school (or Combat dive school) is for numb nuts? It's where our tier one grunts go to get the combat dive badge. The two go hand and hand.

  • @guillermob3- Yeah, but in the Army you don't risk getting stuck on a boat in the middle of nowhere with 5,000 other men. No disrespect to the Navy, though, and I mean that. I had family on the battleship West Virginia, among other things.

  • @Jurassic0Al lol the navy has a shit load of women. probaly the most out of all branches

  • @VBH8888 I would say the Navy and the AirForce are about matched in that department.

  • @guillermob3 I would, but the only reason i dont, you have to have near perfect eye sight to become a Navy diver.

  • That sounds like a lot of work. Screw that.

  • The main thing you have to worry about is not being an E5 or above. You can be an E4 P but anything more and you will not qualify. The reason for that is, divers need to be qualified in diving to be in charge. So why would an E5 automatically be in charge of an E4 with way more dive experience? That is the reasoning. For age limits, I would just check with standard Army regs as to how old or young you have to be to join.

  • Is there an age limit

  • they should just say its hard as hell

  • nice udts!!! Didn't u guys switch to the long ones?

  • Good video, i see alot of familiar faces.
