These are very safe in major rollovers. All BMW convertibles with the pop-up roll bars are safe in rollovers. My dad was in a 2008 BMW 328i and he rolled over on the interstate going 70 MPH and he walked away with a few scratches on his arm. The police said he rolled about 6 times.
