@karateslaginnek had to look for it b/c I didn't know who Bailey and his Nervous Kats are. Now that I found an album I can say thanks for the suggestion!
Hah! John Lemon (sax) is my grandfather. I'm researching my relatives and ancestors for a family history project that I'm doing for school, so I thought I'd look up the band that he was in.
I rather like this, which surprises me because I'm not much of a fan of most music from that era. It's rather fun.
Wow! I was born in Spokane and raised in Coeurd'Alene. I remember this record well. I have the same 45. its white from use. The Spokane DJ that really promoted it was killed driving on the wrong side of the highway in the fog one nite. It was a big deal at the time. Can't remember his name now. Thanks for posting it. I couldn't believe it was on here.
5 stars/favs! This is an eerie, weird, atmospheric and fabulous instrumental! I just LOVE it! Thanks to vespa202 for sharing it and to youvexme for posting it!
I know that they were based out of Spokane, WA and that they played from the mid 50's to mid 60's (I believe). My great uncle used to play saxophone for them until he had to move for college/work or something. I forget the name of the guy that replaced him. I've got two CDs of their music; one with 8 songs and the other with a whopping 26. I also know that my uncle still keeps in touch with the old members that are still around.
Truly amazing, what a fabulous instrumental...
Thanks for sharing this pearl

You're kidding me - that's cool! Do you know anything at all about this band? All I know is they were from the Northwest.

hey - thanks for replying so quickly!
Would you mind sharing where I can find more music by them, or are the CD's you have one-offs? I'd love to find more - I've been scouring the net.
