This is the only Suikoden game I've ever played. And I think it's the BEST DS RPG In existence. Even surpassing Pokemon Pearl. I hope I can play the other Suikoden Games someday. This is all, goodbye.

I finished playing Tierkreis yesterday,

and I am blown away!! The storyline is incredible,

and I wish they could've used ut for Suikoden VI instead,

making it a part of the main series somehow.

However, this game, although not connected to the other games:

it's still a Suikoden game, and I dont really understand why so many thinks that it hasnt got that "Suikoden feeling" to it, because it has.

@Pikaqiu Agreed. I thought it was the world map music when I first played it... I was dissapointed by the point and chose interface when travelling. -_-' But it was still a nice non main story game.

Let's get one thing out of the way: This OST is beautiful, and lives up to the great Suiko OSTs out there.

On the game chatter: Eh. I'm one of the old players of the series, but IMO did not think II was that great. It was good for a game, always will be, but I don't think it was the best. As for Tierkreis, it was a v. good game for its platform and is probably one of my faves, and I think much of the characters and story were deeper than given credit for. Only problem was the difficulty curve.

This is such a peaceful theme, don't you think? Suikoden Tierkreis was a great game in itself, really. Too bad there wasn't much to do when the game was over, but it's the same with most other Suikoden games anyway.

@Endaivour: I loved Macoute's voice acting. Too bad his fate later on had to happen...

And Sieg's was the only voice I didn't really like. Most others were pretty good.

Especially games like these that aren't so well known outside of Japan. Because of that many games don't ever come out in the US or Europe. Should be happy that this game made it at all.

yes is true that suikoden 2 is way difficult compared tierkries and maybe is true about that the game only has 4 main character but u see in suikoden 2 was pretty much the same on that cos well there is like 100 characters but only 10 or 8 not sure are really part on the game

i know there is more real characters put isnt soooooo much the diference

yes i have complete suiko 2,5 and ff7 im actually playing ff9 now but i think thats the best one of all

You probably just lost in every other game. Tierkreis was way too easy, only 2 or 3 characters have a real story, sorry, but Tierkreis is a typical DS game => for children.

Mate, the vast majority of the Suikoden fans, that means the fans that started playing Suikoden when Suikoden I was released, consider Suikoden II the best game. Why do you think that is? Suikoden II is the best game in the franchise, period. You might like Tierkreis better, but it is not, you can ask any Suikoden fan and most likely they'll say Suikoden II is the best. Tierkreis doesn't even come close to Suikoden II.

Considering that Suikoden II is considered a holy grail and that Tierkreis was considered a disappointment for never being a sequel. Aside from that, I have yet to hear a Suikoden fan say Suikoden II was worse than Tierkreis. Secondly, he said my opinion was wrong in the first place, so I merely responded in a similar way.

I have played all the suikoden series (2 is my fav), i know a lot of ppl been saying that calling this game is a slap in the face to the fans.

Although this game differs significantly with all other series from the franchise, I have to say it does have a feel of suikoden atmosphere and in its own uniqueness is one of the best handheld RPG game.

I love this game! The only thing that bugs me is the terrible english voice dubbing. If you pay attention to the dialogues carefully, some words kinda rhymes... xD

I never liked chrodechild, I like her personality but shes so weak cause her hp is terribly low and she doesn't do that much damage plus i hate her name lol fredegund is just weird... but yeah I put them together too xD

I equipped Chrodechild with both sword (Twin Flame and Twin Light(?)) She do terrific damage with it. I took my time training them so about 50% of my characters are about lvl 40 and above. So none of the characters drag the team down.

Yeah I'm near level 50 too because of training in gray ridge mine. I gave those swords to Roberto xD I'm sure if i properly equipped Chrodechild she'd do good damage BUT she has really low hp so she dies fastttt and she doesn't have any good moves either... so yeah.

I have a personal old lady that helps in my training... You need to have a lift before going to salsabil's residence with Mubal in your party to recruit her. She generates Dreambeasts that helps A LOT in training my characters.

I have her too but she offers me the same monsters over and over, they aren't that good. Theres a monster in grayridge mine that gives a ton of exp, combined with sotah as ur support member you can TONS of exp.
