It's nice to see someone come back from such a life and change for the good. It is very inspiring but the whole idea of bringing one religion down to say another one is great is doomed to bring more of the problem this guy is trying to fight (violence). I was born a Muslim but I no longer believe in Islam. I'd never dare to disrespect Islam or any religion just because I no longer beiieve it. We need to respect and honor eachothers' beliefs.

He even agrees with Peter on this matter in plain black n white. Cant argue with JC's nod of approval. If you say the bible may be changed by man then the quran is in the same boat. The difference is you can pick up any bible translation you like and Jesus is still the Son of God etc... The quran robs Jesus of His true title and this is very wrong.

I am proud of you Amir. God has called you to this type of ministry and it will be hard and dangerous. I too have a huge heart for gang members. I was born in Canada but I now live in Texas. I have never been in a gang but God has placed a huge burden on my heart for them. I will probably dedicate the rest of my life to ex gang members and to troubled teens in gangs. There is no help or programs for gang members . . . maybe I can change that somehow. Thanks for your story.

To say that I was paid, that I am a disgrace, is to challenge the work I am doing. I hear a lot of things being said about faith but not enough about the work. After all, would my story be anything special if I had not done the work to back up my claim? It is easy to type an opinion about something without backing it up with your life. Christians have the concept of charity and helping others. You notice how it is christians leading the Haiti help effort.

The so called new superpowers india and china have followers of non judaic religions and the concept of karma these people have means they think any person suffering deserved it so dont help him. Try and live and work in these countries and u will sooon see what i mean. The christian/judaic/islamic religions on the other hand have charity at their core.
