Haha! Yes it does need to be lubed up.. I had just gotten back from a cross country drive from LA to NY, so the squeaky door wasn't at the forefront of my thoughts..
as for the hydraulic pressure warning light- it has a bad connection at the switch- the system has good pressure (when it does lift and begin to cycle but the light stays on or flickers sporadically.
A manual choke? LOL, We come a long way. Still the style of the entire DS series is to me timeless

You actually move the car while the hydraulics light is on? Use that time to lube the driver's door hinge!
