  • your book is brillant thanks

  • Did you have little Twiches in your mucials before your ms got really bad?

  • If you mean do I get little twitches, before bad spasms happen, then yes. If you are asking if I had twitches before I had my first relapse, I can't really remember.

I do have issues with muscles spasms and twitching quite often. Does that help?

    Marlo :)

  • You are one of those strong, cool and creative people I have the pleasure of 'knowing.' So pleased to hear things going well for you. Thanks for all you do and are :-) Kerri xo

  • Congrats in the book Marlo! It's been a great and uplifting read for me as I plug onwards towards month six since diagnosis (wow, time flies when yer shootin' up 3x a week!) seriously -yay for you! Thanks for doing what u do here. :) - Eve

  • Its great to see you so happy , just keep it up .

Best regards , Marko from Belgrade

  • I am very proud of you for getting this book out there! On a side note you do have a touch of an English accent now :).

  • Thanks Jeremy! Oh God! I hope I am not getting the Madonna accent! hahaha. I have always had a kind of 'middle gay America' accent anyway! hahahaha

    Hope you are well!

    Lots of love,

    Marlo

  • Sorry. Terrible spelling mistakes in the last post, so let's have another try.

Congratulations on the launch. Are you going to promote the book in London?

I thoroughly agree with you about calling crisps potato chips. I love the States and all things American. But when I'm here I want to enjoy what's uniquely British.

  • Thanks very much! I am indeed promoting the book in London on the 29th of October. Do you want to come? It is guest list only, so drop me an email and I would be happy to put you on it!

I am glad you agree about the crisps situation. I see it more and more....like cupcakes instead of fairycakes. and COOKIES instead of buscuits! That is really out of order! It is all wrong!

anyway, thanks for posting and let me know about the 29th!

    Marlo :)

  • Hopefully Thom Yorke (from the briliant ENGLISH band Radiohead) doesn't change the line in True Love Waits to

...and true love lives on lollipops and POTATO CHIPS. That would be a disaster!

Seriously, good to see you and I am glad that you are now living the life of an author.

    Book openings......DKNY.....

I might have to drop your name in the future.

    Take care.

    Mark

  • Hahahaha! I LOVE Radiohead, by the way. :) Living the life of an author....hmm....I like the sound of it. Though I have to live my abnormally normal life so that I have something to write about! hahaha.

Hope all is well with you, Mark. Thanks for posting!

  • Dear Margo,

sorry that I am getting to see your video so late, but I just got back to the States last night after spending 3 weeks in Italy.

I am glad that you are doing well and that your experience in Manchester was wonderful. I hope you will have many more night like that one in the future!

I wish you the very best.

    Hugs,

    Angela

  • Yay, a new Marlo video. Congrats on your success, now you just need to bring the book tour stateside!

PS - what is the magic of the mini-bar that causes me to spend $4 on a packet of peanut m&ms, hmmm

  • OMG! I didn't know about it!!! dammit! Otherwise I'd have come the 20 miles from my house to see you!!!! :-/ Next time though... ;-)

  • Thanks for your post! Would you want to come to the London one? It's the 29th of October.

    Marlo

    xx

  • That's the day of my Neurology appointment... :-( Let me know next time you're up North and I'll come see you. :-)

  • I'm so glad to see you looking so good! No chocolate in the mini-bar?! What a disaster!

  • Thanks! Yes, the choclate was a serious disaster! But I did find the hot chocolate mix!

    :)

  • Haha, I agree with haiqin.

    Fridgefail for not having chocolate!

  • You've come so far girl, I'm so happy for you. I was just thinking about you the other day, so I'm stoked that you made a video! :)

You seem to be doing well too since beginning the Tysabri as well! Be sure to get some rest, you must be beat!

    LOOKING TO GET ROCKED!!! LMAO!!!

I hope they don't charge you for moving stuff around the fridge, I'd be scared I'd trigger extra billing by moving a bottle!

  • Thank you! You know, I slept for 12 hours after that and if it wasnt for the fact that I had to check out, I would not have gotten up. I didnt get charged for moving the contents of the fridge! hahaha!

    xx

  • Thank goodness for that! Hotels can be pretty bad about that stuff.

I stayed at the Sofitel in Chicago. Bad!... I had brought Tim Hortons coffee from Canada for my US pals, and their 'complimentary' coffee maker was a 4 cup'er with a huge crack down the side.

AND NO WI-FI! Bad bad bad!
