Pesonally, I've never seen an online game with as much potential as this. The graphics are amazing and the combat system is advanced beyond measure. The voices and sounds of the game also seem to not have been over looked. It would be a miracle if this game came out and was F2P. There are pleanty other online games that have graphic close to the quality presented and are mostly all free. We can only hope I guess.

Honestly, the game does look like alot of fun. The graphics are gorgeous, and works well in tandem with the artstyle. And I prefer more action oriented MMO games, so that's another plus, as that's exactly what this appears to be.

The problem I have with it is that it seems to cater toward the pervert demographic. I really prefer modesty over sexuality... Indecency just doesn't work for me. If they provide an outfitting system with a selection of decent clothing, I might really get into it.

@Peter1992t No, not gay. It's because i know many female(and male) individuals who refuse to get into such games because of the display of female(sometimes males as well) characters. It's very stereotypical for Korea. Their games are not successful worldwide for many reasons, one of them being what i mentioned. Lack of different gear. For ex. every piece of female gear is very exposing. You don't have many choices and this is a large minus for a large audience of gamers.

Society today is a very sex craving society. This only attracts a larger audience. Now I understand if they had more variety they would attract other players (such as yourself), and who knows? Maybe the game has some sort of "social clothing" system that goes over armor. Seeing this game has you wearing cloth as armor anyways (martial arts) I could see that happening. There's got to be a few non-slutty pieces out there.

Honestly I'd overlook this for the amazing gameplay.

I think I can safely say the graphics are fantastic. Skimpy female outfits? Check. What worries me are things like the crafting system: will it be the random chance nonsense that Aion's was? Will pvp be the order of the day, or will there be non-pvp servers? (I'd rather have a choice) How will they deal with the inevitable gold-spammers and botting? Will this be another grind game, or can questing/other activities aid in raising exp?

Most(not if all) korean/asian games make female chars look like strippers of some sort. Barely having any clothing, showing off ass and legs(not to mention not realistic breasts). I understand the fact the they want all the creatures/avatars to be "perfect", yes please no problem with that, but at least give them proper and REALISTIC clothing. I mean come on, who goes battling against some fat blob monster in a fur coat and tight leather pants? O_o. The game looks awesome tho :D

Blade & Soul will have a closed beta this year. Supposedly NC is placing more resources on the game. If we are lucky (very very lucky) the game will come out in Korea at the end of the year, THEN maybe it will jump (hopefully untouched) to other countries on 2011.

A dream would be a simultaneous launch, but somehow I don't see that happening.
