Hey Hiro, great review!

When I was back home in England I got absolute crap projection out of this longevity was about the same (3 hours), but that was in cold weather.

I tried it again in Singapore (humid weather) and it projected very very nicely with a good 8 hours longevity! This leads me to suggest that this is a summertime fragrance

I agree for longetivity, but I have to try it. The One gentleman is worse projectionwise. If somebody liked Godfather, Scarface or is thinking of buying a hat, you have to try this. Great review Miguel !!!

Hey Hiro. I really enjoy this one myself. I don't know it I agree that it lasts any less than the average frags that I wear. But yeah, the smell is unique and amazing. I image some Jamaican tobacco shop selling some fruity tropical tobacco for pipes.

Great review Hiro! :] Fragrances are rather odd like that. The first time I wore The One at a formal dinner, I felt that the cologne was shouting. I kind of felt embarrassed, because I didn't want to be that guy. And it lasted all day for me when I wore it to a conference a couple weeks ago. Now Pure Malt is a different story for me...

You're exactly right when you say EVERYONE has reviewed it because its a common scent unfortunately. I like the fact that youtube has opened us up to new fragrances but on the flip side it makes those scents that were 'exclusive' somewhat common now. Thats probably why I wouldn't let anyone see my collection because you don't want everyone having the same thing you have! LOL

how does this have projection and longevity problems when i spray this on my clothes and its strong and lasts days.ppl stop being naive the one is a great fragrance which will garner tons of compliments it has over 200 somin reviews on sephora so obvi people are smelling it.just spray on your clothes and wear it in summer it will get so cloying you will never wanna use it again hahaha

Yeah, I don't what the deal is with this one. I think you have to have the perfect kind of skin to pull this one off, not too dry and not too oily. After having this one on for about 6 hours, people could still smell it from about 5 ft. away and I just sprayed one on my chest, and one on the back of my neck. Also, I sprayed this on my hand(1 spray) and after 13 hours, it was still fairly strong.

Also, I don't really get a tropical smell with this. To me, it starts off as a dark creamy orange and then quickly turns into a very manly spice type of smell.

Nice review Miguel. This used to be my signature scent 2 years ago. I really love the smell but like you I get no more than 6 hours, which is a shame because just about all the fragrances I own I can pull off 8 hours plus, even if they don't last for other people but The One doesn't last that long for me either. I also agree about the sprayer, maybe that's why you can spray about 3 times in 1 spot because the sprayer is shit lol!

@warriordiscus7 yo sup bro 1280 projection and longevity is actually pretty good. i only wore it a couple times but lasted about 8 hours and projected well. not to mention the overall better smell. worth the price IMO

I'm glad you said 1 Million for similar bottles.  That is totally the vibe I get from The One. I think whatever qualities they share is what makes me hold off on The One because I don't like 1 Million.

Solid review. I actually get pretty good longevity and projection out of this. Comes off pretty potent on my skin. There is just something in it that I'm not sure I like. My wife likes it though so I may end up getting a bottle.

Major credit for pronouncing it "Ga-BAN-A" and not "Bon-a" . I love the tropical smell of this, but it's a shame about the projection & longevity. They need a parfum version.

This seriously lasts 30 mins on me. I totally agree, it's a shame since it's such a fantastic scent. I think you're being really generous with the 8/10...and the 5/10 longevity? Damn man...How do you even get compliments with this thing? I doubt anybody could smell it.

I think this one's meant to be worn when it's hot and humid. I tried it once with my apartment's heater cranked up, and it was projecting pretty good even 6 hours later.
