Myself and a few people I work with host games a few times a week, but there doesn't seem to be a lot of people who are playing online these days. I hated this mission because of those damn well placed structures harass my forces when I was trying to assault to their main base. Thank goodness that I made VTOL ground units for this type of problem, I use the VTOL version of the Bunker Buster parts for my ground forces to take out their structures and finally gotten through into the main enemy base and to finish the fight against NEXUS!

I never got rid of my copy either, even though you can download the game for free now. But it was just something so special and unique why would you want to. There is nothing like it and it was so damm immersive. NEXUS always scared me.

Then a few units and plenty of turrets could be the best option for you. Slowly build up an army while maintaining a strong defence, and unleash it when the time comes.

Turrets are much more durable than tanks.

I've learned in games that have a unit promotion/experience system, that often the most USEFUL method of defense is a small elite heavy slow standing army. That way when the enemy impales themselves on your wall, you get something for it other than repair costs. Tracks and heavy chassis, especially artillery tanks slaved to sensors, as well as slow strike-type VTOLS slaved to sensor towers, really go a long way.

Also little known hint. Sensor tanks level too.

i need help in mission 12... it says "enemy escaping" then the mission is failed.. i know it is the enemies' TRANSPORTER.. i tried to take it down but i always fail..

It's really annoying. I'm on this mission but after my first transport drop, my transport just flies round in circles and doesn't leave the map. This means I'm stuck with only 20 units to complete this mission. It is impossible :(

U dont need to have Win98. I play this game on XP and it sometimes crashes only when quiting the game, but U should first try to reinstall the game, if it doesnt work U need to get another version of the game

after reaserching nxs resistance u gotta kill all nexus units in the area.
