  • That is weird.... the reporters ask him questions and then listen to him ???

I haven't heard an interview like that in a long time !!!

  • A message to the CBC archives " advert extend the audience to listen and started reworking the sound scope of all the parts in the music design wavelength department, which alters the voice recordings"

  • Undercover in darkness the demolition lover transmits from one mind to another replicate the modern world that is seeking the origins of it's meaning , through reconcile complexities and intimate unforgettables , infectiousness, resentment tenderness, hope but non the less thrilling ,confounding predicaments of love .In place there place an ort of silence given . Ashes of deadly paper created geological manifestations.

  • One has to wonder if Trudeau took McLuhan's opinion of Canada to heart. We had our own cultural revolution in the 60's and 70's.

  • Man is he wrong and sometimes completely incoherent on so many issues.

  • My favourite of all human observers. Love, love, love this guy's logical brilliant mind

  • "20 million books can now be put on a single desktop."

  • @twocentsCanada 20 million books can now crash a single desktop

  • it's impossible to have a point of view in the electrical age !! :)

  • @spiningaway ...and have any meaning at all."

  • Try taking LSD and reading Finnegans wake.

  • @carterburton or listening! It's available as a download on piratebay....

  • @carterburton I tried reading it on shrooms but discovered it was redundant to do so. Finnegans Wake was already happening.

  • This gentleman was way ahead of his time and as for his statement on Canada...How right was he. Most Law of Attraction teachers come from Canada..Were they reading whilst keeping quiet.

  • is there more of this interview somewhere to watch or download?

  • The book, or shall I say movie, McLuhan is being questioned about is François Truffaut's treatment of Ray Bradbury's 'Fahrenheit 451', thus McLuhan's statements regarding libraries & book-burning. McLuhan is a wizard of relational deconstructivism ; a dot-connector of sorts that is missing from and sorely needed in the world we inhabit today. As a result, Paddy Chayefsky's 'Network' has become a reality, unfortunately.

  • excellent video. Thanks

  • Thank you for this

  • This format is how all presidential candidates should be interviewed. You gotta be frosty for this, and McCluhan is the frostiest customer ever.

  • The revolution will not be televised; hence revolution became obsolete.

  • Very good.
