I recognised the Cologne Cathedral in the trailer, thus, a part of the movie will take place in Germany. Nice place to have a battle in :P

I can't wait to see the final version... The only thing they could left unchanged was Bri's skin colour (he was black), because - as the gossip say - we're about to meet someone who looks like Briareos before his "accident". Maybe that bishy guy from the newest trailer?...

So it has more polygons but the CG is still too clean with the same dead eyes. John Woo = Birds+Cathedrals+Double-handed Guns+Back Against Back+Slow Mo... All hackneyed style and NO SUBSTANCE. What are the chances the story won't suck as much as the first one. Shirow has sold out to be a full time dirty old man.

I liked the first, but it didn't feel like a flat-out classic. This looks like it's going to be even more intense than the first CG movie.

The original OVA of Appleseed sucked hairy monkey balls. The manga ROCKED (and I hope he might consider finishing it...if just to toy with our emotions). The '04 movie kicked ass--but it didn't go close to the manga. At least, it seems, in the new one, Deunan and Bri will be the two-man team they're suppose to be!
