  • Where did you collect this from? I am assuming it is Habrotrocha, but it depends on where is was living.

  • @PondWaterWorld Southern California. I read that Habrotrocha only lives in pitcher plants, but I don't think that's where this sample was from. It's been awhile, though...

  • @mattsdx One Habrotrocha species is found in the micro commonity of Sarracenia purpurea, but I assume others can be found in leaf littler. If this was collected in moss, It may be Rotifer vulgaris.

  • It's a Celestron LCD Digital Microscope. Go to their site and look for Item #44340.

    It works great!
