  • hey nice shed lol

  • 3800's are wonderful operators... I've had mine in for a little over 3 years and it has never once failed me. I programmed 4 remote lights to it so that I never have to turn the garage light on (I used to forget it on overnight) Awesome garage, high sidewalls, beautiful.

  • How tall are the doors?

  • that's a nice high ceiling garage

  • Allright, gotta ask. You've had these installed for over a year now. What do you think of them after this long?

Also, was this all a new house, or did you have a different door and opener setup before these? Had you considered other types of doors for your garage?

  • Probably the best decision I made. period.

No problems at all. Quiet, fast, deadbolt locking, remote lights.

I can not think of one problem. The doors are used on average 10 times a day. (kids)

This was a new home installation. I designed the garage for these doors.

  • @exp2ex Well, I can very definitely say that it is absolutely awesome! :-)

  • thats a big door!!!!!

  • Is there an automatic lock on the doors?

  • Yes.

  • That's a pretty tall garage you have there!

  • You got a good price out of Ebay!

Good choice with this kind of HighLift, that's what 3800 are made for! Have you installed the remote light?

    Eric

  • yup, Remote lights are up.

The openers are great and exactly what I wanted.

I have had no problems at all.

  • I ddnt knw there was a Chamberlin version of the Lift Master Jackshaft. Lol, what kind of house do u live in to have openers like that?

  • also, I think i wuld b scared to hav a garage door like tht, something about the laws of gravity judt dsnt add up there :)

  • Why ? Scared ? The doors have about a 5 lb weight to them due to the springs. These are excellent doors and the openers are the best. You could probably have these doors open into the attic of a lower garage and make them disappear. I thought about it.

  • Great openers!!!!

  • No kidding! I've never seen that high of a lift on a residential garage. And the 3800 is FAST on these doors too! That's awesome!

  • oh.

  • does your other door have an opener??

  • It does just not installed yet. It took me about 1.5 hrs to install each.

Retail is $600 each, I got them delivered from ebay for $300 ea.
