She's not really smart. She just learned the night before he was a POW???Anything said by Joe Lieberman is taken with a grain of salt. What a doofus. Thanks young people for helping Obama get elected. It seems you're smarter in some ways than people who've been around about 58 years, come from Raleigh, North Carolina, wear blue outfits with topaz earings that sit in front of a youtube banner talking into a camera babbling about things they know nothing about.
Beth Long you are killing me...So you are a McCain supporter and just learned last night that he was a POW? Had experienced a lot of umm..torture and umm...tragic circumstances. C'mon Beth get into politics if you are going to conventions and making youtube videos. Don't go to conventions just because you hate black people or because Jesus tells you to vote Republican. Don't try and talk to the young voters Beth, I am a young voter and I would talk you in circles politics wise.
WDF does being a POW have 2 do with running a country?!!! the man is bush the sequal lady wake the fuck up. idiot. thats all i hear from these fools. he's a POW and a maverick. please! he old n tired. put his ass 2 bed.
John McCain's experience is the very reason he shouldn't be the next president of the united states. 1. he will give oil compaines a 4 billion dollar tax break. 2. he will give tax breaks to companies that ship American jobs overseas. 3. He will make health insurance less affordable for more Americans. That's what the experience of John McCain will get you. You never stated what John McCain accuatly accomplished during his 27 years in Washington.
Yep McCain got tortured, they adopted a couple poor kids. That's really nice and good for them. Unfortunately McCain is no longer a near-democrat 'Maverick' the Rush Limbaugh party has brought him 'to Jesus'. Rush is crowing with glee about our new economy, this is the desired result of the Rush Limbaugh party since they started hammering away at the Glass-Steagall Act in the 1980s.
Capitol Hill sources are saying that senior McCain people are more than concerned about Palin. The campaign has held a mock debate and a mock press conference; both are being described as "disastrous." One senior McCain aide was quoted as saying, "What are we going to do?" The McCain people want to move this first debate to some later, undetermined date, possibly never. People on the inside are saying the Alaska Governor is "clueless."
Wow, lady it scary that you are going to vote during this important election. Obama is a brilliant man Harvard educated man who has accomplished a lot for someone his age. If experience is important why did McCain choose Sarah Palin? McCain Camp insiders say Palin "clueless" Senior McCain people are more than concerned about Palin. People on the inside are saying the Alaska Governor is "clueless."
Too bad John McCain 2000 is not around! Now we have John McSame, pandering old man trying to live up to his granddad and pappy! Never made it to Admiral but dammit I'll be President if I have to sell my soul! We need real change, not a depends change!
You just learned he was a POW "Last Night?" What the heck rock have you been under???? I suggest you really do more research than those 20second sound bites and talking points you've been fed. You may want to know that his wife did not "meet" with mother Thresea, it was the Nuns that work in her organization, but "Meeting" with her sounds way more impressive so that's been slid into the story. I suggest everyone do their own research.!
You are VASTLY UNINFORMED. Making stuff up, being disconnected and irrational does not cut it. But go ahead, do it anyway, I like the display that once again demonstrates that Ron Paul haters cannot think their way out of a paper hat.
McCain talks about doing things for us. What does his experience as a POW have to do with us. I understand that it's a big thing he went through, but why does that experience give him automatic presidential qualifications? Please let me know.
Experience? Would you want Dick Cheney to be President? He has the most experience of all. Would you want to re-elect Bush? He's got loads of experience. We need someone smart and educated to lead this country. We don't need someone who graduated 894 out of 899, crashed four planes before being shot down in the fifth, old, cancerous, hot-headed and computer illiterate. Palin doesn't care about "The Mainland" and is ill equipped to deal internationally with countries like...any country!
I like Ron Paul, however, he would have us become a protectionist nation. I do agree however that in order to have real "change" we need to have a genuine 3rd party.
Protectionism is the economic policy of restraining trade between nations, through methods such as tariffs on imported goods, restrictive quotas, and a variety of other restrictive government regulations designed to discourage imports, and prevent foreign take-over of national companies. This policy is closely aligned with anti-globalization. It means we pull in and stop being a world power.
Ok, for that you need to read a book, instead of the internet, and you will be required to actually think. If you do not recognize Ron Paul as a protectionist yet.. then I can't help you. Read his book "The Revolution: A Manifesto". If your looking for something that says "hi, I'm a protectionist" you won't find it.
Talk about books, sure.. post what the whole book said? You might be able to download a PDF copy after you pay for it, however no one is going to post the book, that would be an infringement of copy write laws. And you have a point about a tariff on imported goods, I think we should lift the taxes on exported goods, so we can manufacture here and compete with other nations on price. If you read Ron Paul, you will see his answer is to tax imports more.
"I am disheartened by the administration's recent decision to impose a 30 percent tariff on steel imports. This measure will hurt far more Americans than it will help, and it takes a step backwards toward the protectionist thinking that dominated Washington in decades past. Make no mistake about it, these tariffs represent naked protectionism at its worst, a blatant disregard of any remaining free-market principles to gain the short-term favor of certain special interests." -Ron Paul 2002
I hope you are aware that Ron Paul is a Republican, has been elected to congress 10 times as a Republican, and is a Republican candidate for president.
Yes, there isn't a "protectionist" party. and he is not the republican candidate for president, that would be McCain, Ron Paul was unable to obtain the nomination from the republican party.
