  • i actually kno this train. Not nearly as many engines. Passes thru Chicago suberbs. Apx 3 miles long. Great video!!

  • GREAAAAAAAT VID,

    I GIVE YOU A TRIPLE A.

Is there a coal-fired Powerplant in MT or is this Coal for domestic Purposes?

    Thanks.

  • There are a few Montana coal-fired power plants, but the westbound coal trains as shown in this video, crossing the Continental Divide west of Helena, leave Montana bound for power plants in Boardman, Oregon, Centralia, Washington, and Longview, Washington.

  • love it great stuff, thansk for posting.

  • Amigo don't anybody put you down who the f..! Wants to do a fake train vid, i think this is a good video its not the first train with a lot of locos to help, people search longest train in the world and you'll see its not uncommon to see this type of trains!!

  • This is the very reason why CSX and MRL ordered their SD70ACEs weighing in at 428,000lbs. Awesome 710 power!

  • when i was in mn this summer i saw an bn mac sd40 and atsf gp40 on one consist

  • Thumbs up if u love them EMDs Humming!

  • Wow what a good video.

  • Tom I think it is. This is great video. Thank you for useing a tripod! I love the MRL, it reminds me of when I use to video CN and CP in the mountains of Boston Bar, B.C. Canada. We should trade video? Please post more!! Thanks, Kevin.

  • Wow, so I make a respectful comment that I think this looks artificial. Some of the replies made by these pin-heads are so disproportionate to my original comment its almost comical.

  • Platonium9, you are a dumbass. This is a cool vid. I love BN Executive MAC 70s!!!

  • @meccaturbo MTnomad10, please excuse this gentleman, he has nothing to contribute to your video.

  • @est86leo BN "Executive" SD70MAC are awesome. Such a beautiful loco.

  • Reply to Plutonium9:

The bridge is well-maintained, and well-supported.

Cars are all similar because they are mass-produced?

Perfect Pan zoom? Ever heard of a tripod?

Cola piles are the same because they are loaded automatically?

    No clickety-clack . . . ? Try welded rail, no joints, it's continuous.

If it's not real, then someone has waaaay to much time on their hands to be doctoring-up video.

  • The jury 's still out in my opinion whether this is faked or not.there are points raised here that merit that question.

For example the units are emitting any visible exhaust as far as I'm concerned a unit in run 8 on a mountain grade under load is gong to be smoking !! In regard to the visible portion of the loaded coal cars, automated loading should produce uniformity in all cars then why doesn't it ?

About the lack of "clickity clack the bridge it may be laid with CWR .

  • really, who cares?

  • I don't see many coal drags on you toob.

  • Great video, railroading at its best.

  • wow great video nice job 5*****

  • wow, coal is pretty heavy...

  • awesome !

  • Hey this is a great great video, nice shooting, nice camera moves, love it! Saludos desde Mexico

  • Nice catch. Is this on the BNSF or the Montana Rail Link?

  • wow!!! you guys in the states have some superb locos , in the uk we were lucky to get two locos coupled together , good stuff , i feel jealous i can only see this stuff on you tube and not every day in the flesh!!!

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!! Thats some power!

  • Wow! That's awesome!

  • AWESOME VIDEO! That's like 45,000 horses or more there on that one train! Once again, GREAT Video!

    5***** and Favorite!
