  • Hey does the porting on the gun cause eye injuries? The guy at bass pro shop said for indoor shooting the porting can cause problems

  • @AGeekWithAShotgun

The people behind brass pro gun counters are mostly idiots who get their information from Glen Beck and video games.

  • @damarei

I know, but when firing this thing (seeing that the range wasn't very well lit) did it hurt your eyes at all?

  • @Cowbelltheoneandonly

Sounds like you've been reading too much TACTICAL OPERATOR stuff.

    Muzzle flash is muzzle flash.

    Deal with it

  • @AGeekWithAShotgun

Porting causes a loud gun to become deafening. Most indoor ranges dislike that much noise, even with hearing protection on.

  • @supergoat343

    nope.jpg

  • I have the titanium version of this gun. I wouldn't trade it for the world. Sellier & Bellot 158gr FMJ make it the most accurate gun that I have ever shot. The lack of weight with titanium makes it snap and kick hard. The only problem with Ti is that they left out the slots for a scope mount.

  • S&B ??

    Most accurate?

I think you should get your hands on some high quality ammo and be quite surprised

  • it shoots through schools.

  • I just bought this gun. I love the grip but it is a big piece of work. Nicely handled. Thanks for the video. I need to learn this technique of handling.

  • Looks like he's shooting .38's in that revolver. JMHO.

  • We're manly men!

    hahahah.

  • actually, to give an honest answer, the porting on this gun really, really helps.

Muzzle wouldn't flare that much if I'd been shootin' .38spl

  • I only say that, because my 66ss6 gets a big flip with higher pressure reloads, etc. When I put .38's through it, it's pretty tame. I didn't consider porting.

I dig my wheelgun. It's FUN!!

    Dale

  • yeah, it also has a pretty hefty barrel shroud on it, which helps felt recoil.

People complain about those Ribber grips Taurus puts on their guns, but they help as well.

I think with today's technology, it's a good idea to look into recoil reduction.

Check out my other videos to see my recoil reducing stock on my 12 ga.

  • Nice video, nicer gun! I'm looking to get the 627 in a 4inch configuration in 2 weeks. Mind if I ask how you like the posting and the grip?

  • I'm not sure what you mean about the "posting", but the grip is just fine.

A lot of the people who complain about the grips on Taurus revolvers are just old and grumpy. :)

  • Us old and grumpies wouldn't complain about the grip if it wasn't so damn small for large handed people. Besides it's the 627 ribber grip that I have a problem with. No problem with the model 66 grip though.

  • @OldeSkool1

Well, I'm about 6'3", and I have pretty large hands

  • Why do these people never show the target?

  • These people never show the target, because these people don't think to bring the target back before we stop recording, hahah.

We're gonna go shooting this tuesday, since I just bought a brand new Kimber Custom II. I'll try to remember to do that for you.

  • I showed the target in my newest video, guy.

here's a thumbs up, since it was actually a decent tip.

  • has anyone heard of a turaus .218 bee if so give feed back

  • what?

is that some kind of specialized caliber?

    Never even heard of it

  • "Raging Bee" check it out

  • ohhh, that's interesting, I guess

  • I was gonna say...put your thumb on the frame...but the last time I shot a 686 was some years ago and I can't remember if there is enough room to...

  • Yeah, it's a weird habit my brother has.

I have no idea why he does it, hahah.

  • hey i have that gun MOST ACCURATE GUN EVER SHOT. atleast for a handgun.

  • Had happened to the eight shoot?

    Doesn't the cilinder hold eight?

    Nice tracker.

    Is it the titanium version?

  • Nope, it's the 627.

    holds seven rounds.

  • To me having a wheel gun with more than six shots isn't fun...

  • Why is that?

What about a revolver with 5 shots?

  • I have a Tracker .45 ACP. 5 shot. I just think anything more than six shots doesn't seem like a classic revolver

  • Well, I don't worry that much about what is "cool" or whatever.

If it works, and it works well, I like it.

Also, there are some really old revolvers that had capacities greater than six.

There's even an old pinfire that had a 20 shot cylinder

  • is that 38 your shooting?

  • Nope, it's Sellier and Bellot .357 mag.

  • you need to put your left thumb down

  • yea its a bad habit I have, but small groups at 15 yards dont lie

  • cool are the bullets a lot of money for that gun

  • I usually get blazer aluminums for 20 bucks for 50 rounds or remington's for 30 bucks for 50 rounds

  • I think he's giving the Taurus Tracker the tumbs up! :)
