Thank you for sharing this recipe. I just finished my 2nd bowl :) . I made it on Monday and I think I like it best today. I also added sliced portabella mushroom caps, carrots, a seeded serano chile (diced) and a whole small onion sliced thin. I've had collard greens maybe twice so I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy this raw version. YUM YUM.
Hi Jorjeni, I see you posted this video 2 yrs ago, but this recipe is FABULOUS!! I made it last night (out of curiosity), because another person I know eats RAW. I used collards, red chard and a few different things just for my own personal taste and it could NOT be BETTER. I forwarded the recipe to 3 of my friends because they know I'm a HUGE FOODIE and LOVE my greens. Please keep up the good work and continue to post your GREAT recipes. You are a BLESSING to those who want to Eat to LIVE.
@tbursee. I feel you!! I've made two raw green salads just because a person I know eats RAW and I was curious. This recipe is THE BEST!! If you haven't tried it yet, PLEASE step outside the box and DO IT, you WON'T be disappointed...The first time I made one, my family was all leary and weird, but now all I've heard this week is "when are you going to make another Collard Green Salad"?, so I made this particular recipe last night which will be for dinner tonight..It is FANTASTICO!!!!!!!!!!
I thought the days of my Collard eating was over since I started the raw way of eating. I have only been eating them in my salads and green smoothies. NOW! I will MOST DEFINITELY have to try your recipe! Thanks for sharing and I will post my results soon!
Hi, the vegetable green is called Swiss Chard. A great veggie. Poultry seasoning usually has chemicals in it so you might want check it out. the only ingredients i could have are the chard, collard greens, olive oil and cider vinegar! Looks delicious though. I think the husband would like it.
just made this for my partner & me... we felt like the braggs made it too salty, so i added about 1/4c agave to take the bite off. now, their perfect! well, for us, at least! :o)
This looks good. I've been cooking my greens differently lately. No smoked meat;only seasoning and olive oil, but this looks like something I'd like to try.
Swiss Chard, I love garlic also. You can put mustard and turnip greens but only about a quarter or a few leaves of each so it won't be too bitter. Looks good and cayenne pepper is good for you. When I don't feel like cutting I toss it in the food processor then season and eat.
All the flavors mixed together give it a vinagrette(sp) taste. I have never made this with processed vinager only raw so that might change the taste. Everyone I know that have never had any raw food meals but have tasted this LOVE IT!!!
I have actually mixed mustard and collards and they turned out great. I make this at least once a week. Thanks so much for the recipe! Keep em coming!
I was referred to your recipe by BohemianBrown... I am so glad I stopped by your channel!! These look delicious and I will be trying them :)

I"m going to have to try this.
I've made raw greens only once using Collard, Mustard, Turnip and spinach, and that was a couple of years ago.
It wasn't bad. A friend of mine tried it and liked it better than I did.
I really want to try yours. It sounds GREAT! Thanks for the recipe.

Hi, I love collards. My favorite green.
This looks good. I've never heard of adding vinegar. Do the greens have a pickled taste? or a sour taste?
