Hello, can you use any kind of shears because mines was only $1.99 at the beauty supply store and I didnt wanna use the wrong ones cause they also said using the wrong scissors can damage your hair more. But mines not really sharp, can you or someone help me out please, thank you.
@PositiveMe27 using sharp shears are always best, if the are dull or old/rusty it can damage your hair. Im not saying use expensive shears just make sure they are sharp!
believe it or not, the only thing you did was give yourself a much needed trim girlie! I have seen some vids on search and destroy methods, and they really dont care about the eveness of the hair, but i see that you do because your hair is still cute even....very pretty hair tho : )
I love your video. It's very informative. I am natural and I attempted to trim a little of my hair a few weeks ago because I haven't done so in a long time. A lot of my hair broke off last year due to me overprocessing my hair so there is a little fear in taking any of my hair off. I know it has to be done, though. So this video seems right in how I want to trim my hair. I'll just do a little at a time. Thanks for sharing!
Yep if you would have went to t he beauty shop, you would be arm pit length. They would have been like a kid ina candy store with the dry ends. Just cut what you are comfortable with DC with some good conditioner for damage hair and you should be back on track
@1msbabybaby you are right thats why i dont go to the hair salon. I hadnt went for darn near ten years, then i went this year for my birthday...i discovered why i stoped! the lady cut my hair after i explained tht i just trimmed before i came there and that i dont like people cuting my hair. I will do my hair on my own from noe on..
